I was struggling to find car window shades for my 3 door Fiesta because of the awkward window shape and size. I decided to get a generic one with a suction pad in the centre so I could just stick it on and wriggle it about until it covered the window. It sort of worked but it's not ideal. The suction pads are ok, although a bit awkward if they've become folded in transit because they won't stick immediately, but once it's sorted, they do stick well. But... yes there's a but... the rubbery bit which is supposed to hold the shade on the suction pad is a bit flimsy so the shade keeps falling off. Granted, this isn't helped by the shape of my window, it was always going to be a bit awkward, but a bit of rigidity or even a clip of some sort would remedy this. My other concern is the size of the shade. My back windows are small but the shades don't cover them. Now the company selling these do give dimensions so this is on me, I should've checked.Overall I wanted a quick, simple, cost effective fix to keep the sun off my baby in the car and that's exactly what I've got. The quality of the shade seems fine, the fixing on the suction pad could be better, and the shades could be a bit bigger but they do a job and at a price which suits my budget. They're a bit fiddly when they drop down but it takes seconds to pop them back on. They're ok.

On opening the bag, the shade mess looked very flimsy. However, I proceeded to use the provided suction cups, one on each shade, by pushing the small handle end of the suction cup through the metal ring, in the centre of the shade.I put both shades on the window and they appeared to stay firm and in place. I then needed to remove them from the window so I could put them away. On gently removing the suction cup from the window, the metal ring in the centre of the shade just came away from the mess. On removing the second shade, I was even more careful, but the same thing happened to the metal ring.So both metal rings had completely come away from the mess, making these shades completely unusable.I think even if you put them on the window to stay there and never remove them, even a slight knock, would result in the metal rings coming away from the mess. The metal rings are held in place by a minute piece of the mess, that is attached to the circumference of the metal ring. This basically holds it in place and any movement of the metal ring causes the mess to completely come away from the metal ring.I am sending these back for a full refund. These are really not fit for purpose as the mess is flimsy and the metal rings are only just held in place by a minute bit of the mess.Avoid at all cost. From receiving these in the post to them failing was about 5 minutes!!

These are ok but don’t block much sun

Great product, shields the rear facing car seat from the sun at the side and the back. Perfect for a small window of a 3 door car! my only reason for not giving 5 stars is the suction cups, the way in which it was packaged meant that the suction cups arrived folded in half so they don't suck themselves to the windows all that well, I'm hoping that in time it will correct itself and work better because they keep popping off the window

I bought these sunshades for the front two windows of my big 7 seater Hyundai Santa Fe Premium SE, to block the sun and keep a decent visibility outside whilst I drive. And this product does just that.Overall, great value for money and easy to fit, it took me within minutes of the product arriving to assemble and the suction cups have great suction power. The storage bag it comes with makes storage easy and convenient for any part of my car aswell.Definitely recommend 👍

Suction good but the fabric tears easily if a child pulls on them so the middle hole becomes too big & then it falls off. Also could be a bit bigger to cover the whole window.

The sunshade sticks well to the window, on a big window I use both sunshades overlapping them to make them fit. A great product and the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it doesn't block out the sun quite as well as I expected, maybe the mesh needs to be more closely woven, but it is still pretty good. When not needed they fold up and can be kept in the door pocket.

If I had seen this item in a store I would not have even thought about buying it. The item is extremely flimsy with no built in rigidity it flops around all over the place. Secondly cars these days have large interior mirror mountings and the central part of the reflector (in thin vinyl) won't go either behind or in front of the mirror leaving it inches short at the top of the windscreen or leaving a large gap. After struggling to put the reflector in place one tries to keep in in place by folding the sun visors down. No good it just slides down into a heap at the bottom of the windscreen.You get what you pay for - this is not worth the money.Very disappointed - Amazon best seller, I don't think so. If I could give zero stars I would.
