Fly Strips
Work well and fast. Just super sticky and messy. Takes a bit to figure out how to best use.

They work!
We have a porch that is not enclosed, so we hang these up in the corners. It's amazing how fast they fill up during the summer. As much as I think they are disgusting, they work and the flies don't bother us. The strips fill up, you take them down and put up another one, simple process. They don't stink either, like the ones you put the water in. Once the fly is on the strip, they're done ...

These work amazing
I place them in tress where bugs like to swarm when it gets windy I come back in an hour I need to replace the strip. Bird safe one got stuck and was free and fine by the time I got to the door to help it. easy to install wear gloves when handling as they stick no smell sometimes they don't "Deploy" correctly but whatever buy the 48pk and just keep the strips up, and it will help mitigate bug population

Slimy but Satisfying
These rolls of fly tape are very sticky, make sure to wear gloves or be prepared to wash your hands very well after handling. Each tube comes with a thumb tack if you want to hang it off the wall, but I wouldn't recommend since that would leave residue on the wall. Instead, I've been taping them onto corners. Some rolls don't want to unravel properly, which means that the tape doesn't come out as a nice spiral with plenty of surface area. The box comes with enough rolls that I just toss the bad ones. In terms of effectiveness, these do the job! I'm not clear on how attracted the bugs are to the tape, but once they've landed, the bugs can't escape. One thing that you can do to boost the effectiveness is place a classic vinegar+dish soap based trap underneath, which will attract flies and fruit flies to the general vicinity.

What a mess!
DO NOT BUY. The whole strip comes detached when your pulling it out very slowly. They are not strong enough to catch little bugs. Disappointing. I’ll go back to our local feed store to get them.

Catch flies but stick everywhere
It caught some flies but it got stuck on my window too. Don’t really know how to use it.

Ridiculously effective
These things are fantastic; from largest to smallest, if a fly puts the most delicate touch on these things, they stick and die. We had an issue with some kind of fly the size of a fruit fly but which prefer sink drains, etc. as their place to inhabit. We sprayed all kinds of stuff in all the sinks and toilets, just could not break the cycle. After seeing a recommendation online, I bought some beef liver pills, dropped two in a tiny bowl of water with a drop of dish soap, and sat it on the kitchen counter. I stuck one of these strips next to it hanging from a cabinet knob. Within a day the liver pill mix began to give off decaying plant stink (not overwhelming but you could smell it if you were next to it), and by day three the fly strip was completely covered in dead flies. We'd broken the cycle and killed them all in under four days; absolutely amazing.
