It is the perfect bot for home cleaning and mopping. The vacuum is so good that you wouldn't need to mop as frequently as before. Finest of dust and hair are also completely gone. You can feel the floor clean after it's vacuum. My parents were very happy, initially i didn't know what to expect but my parents themselves said this was amazing and if a mom says it's good, i don't think we have to judge it any further. The mopping is different from the usual way, more like wiping with a wet cloth. But since the vacuum does the best job ahead of mop pad, the combination makes sure mopping is achieved. Also i have set it back to default mode in vacuum but trials of strong, turbo and silent modes were impressive too. But default mode is enough for a normal home. In mopping, you have high water and low water modes, i tried both and was surprised by the amount of water it consumes even in high mode so I kept it in high mode. Navigation is something that is very impressive, it detects the objects and maps very well, covers the corners and edges precisely. Keeps updating the same map if some objects mive or get added. Detection is just top notch. And when it cleans around the legs of furniture, it is as if someone is carefully making sure every point is covered. Battery usage is also very well optimized because it never went below 55% for nearly 1000 sqft area including mopping. Also since it cleans so well, we don't need it to clean everyday and have set it alternate days. App interface is also good and easy to use and understand. Support and service is also good, there are contact persons for directly talking and guiding on call in non metro cities. They even give in person or online demo as per availability. Also there are online demo videos which they share for us ti recheck in case we ever have doubts. And again the representatives contact is always available if needed. I didn't need the demo as i felt it was easy to setup and did it by myself, but they did share the support videos and material available. Overall this is a great buy for my home. A true bot, easy to use and intelligent.

I am using Robot Vacuum Cleaner for the last 3 years. It was from a different brand, say brand R. Due to some issues with it, decided to buy ECOVACS DEEBOT Y1 PRO. Using ECOVACS for couple of weeks now. Did/do not use mopping function. Overall, it is a good vacuum cleaner. Will list pros and cons for this here: Pros: 1) Battery/runtime/backup time is excellent. No doubt, it will run for more than 200 min and can easily cover more than 4000 sq ft area in one charge. Very nice. 2) Low noise in standard vacuum power which is another good point. 3) Cleans well as expected. Cons (I would say annoyances for me): 1) Singe side brush. Should have two for even better cleaning. Not sure why brands do not provide two side brushes now a days. 2) Dust and water tank combined. So, both are small in size and needs to be cleaned frequently. Should have another dust only tank which would have been larger in size. 3) Tank has a small and inconvenient opening. Not easy to clean. 4) No way to check if the tank is full or near to full without actually detaching it from the vacuum and opening it. 5) Tank opening functionality is flimsy and should be carefully handled. 6) The docking station has no light indicating it is turned ON and is functioning properly. 7) When the robot is charging, a light blinks, but once it is fully charged, there is no light indicating that it has been powered ON and is connected to Wi-Fi, though it has light for power/Wi-Fi etc which glows when it is cleaning. Firmware/app annoyances (which will probably go away over time): a) No way to save/load current map. You can create two maps for two floors, but then you cannot save it in a different name. Saving a map is particularly helpful when you want to create some no-go zone and save it. b) No go zone has a minimum size and you cannot create one smaller than that. So, if you need a really small no-go zone in the corner, you cannot create that. c) If you close the door of the room for a better cleaning behind the doors, sometimes it fails to get out of the room even if the door has been opened later. This does not happen always but happened couple of times with me. d) Sometimes hits obstacles, like door frame, hard as if it cannot detect them. These are all little annoyances, but robot is functioning fine and cleans my floor well - no issues with that.

Considering its performance, this robot offers excellent value for money and does the core job of vacuuming effectively without a premium price tag. Mopping & Navigation: The 2-in-1 feature is a great convenience. It doesn't replace a deep hand-mopping, but it's perfect for tackling light spills and keeping floors looking shiny between cleanings. The navigation is accurate; it moves methodically around furniture and transitions smoothly from hard floor to area rugs without getting stuck, ensuring consistent mopping and vacuuming coverage. Connectivity & Usability: The app is straightforward and reliable. I can start a clean or set a schedule from my phone with no connection drops. Overall, it's a decent product that works totally good. I would confidently recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable robot vacuum with a handy mopping feature.

This product performs well for both vacuuming and mopping. However, it does miss some corners, so we decided to do a manual mop once a week and use the Ecovacs Y1 Pro for the other weekly cleaning. Battery & Charging: On strong suction mode, the battery lasts for about 35% of the cleaning time needed to cover my entire home (approximately 800 sq. ft. carpet area). The recharge time is on the longer side, but since I always keep the dock station powered on, it’s not an issue for me. App & Usability: The mobile app is user-friendly and easy to operate. No issues with connectivity or controlling the device remotely. Performance & Value: All the features and functions work as expected. I purchased this product for ₹21,500, but during bank offers or festive sales, you can get it for as low as ₹18,000–₹19,000. Before buying, I checked with the brand, and they mentioned the battery life is expected to last between 3 to 5 years depending on usage. Considering that hiring a maid costs at least ₹2,000 per month in my city for cleaning twice a week, this device seemed like a smart investment. I figured I could just pay EMI instead of a maid and still have the device last for a few years. Maintenance Tips: I empty the dustbin and clean the sensors every 2 days to ensure optimal performance. After mopping, I always empty the water tank to avoid any leakage. Accessories can be bought from both the brand and third-party sellers. Personally, I find the quality to be similar. Warranty: An extended warranty is available from the brand, but I found it too expensive, so I chose not to go for it. Final Thoughts: Overall, I’m happy with the purchase. Excellent product with effective cleaning

Excellent Robot Vacuum – Powerful, Smart & Totally Worth It! I purchased the ECOVACS DEEBOT Y1 PRO in early July, and after using it for a few months, I’m genuinely impressed with its performance. The 6500 Pa suction power is incredible — it easily picks up dust, pet hair, and even fine debris from tiles and carpets. The 2-in-1 vacuum and mop function works seamlessly, leaving my floors spotless and fresh every time. The mapping and navigation are very accurate. It learns the layout of my home perfectly and moves in a systematic pattern without bumping into furniture unnecessarily. I can control everything through the app — from scheduling to setting no-go zones — which makes cleaning so convenient. The battery life is excellent; the 5200 mAh battery easily covers my 3BHK (around 3500+ sq. ft.) in a single charge, and the runtime of around 5 hours is exactly as advertised. I bought the Y1 Pro after a long research/review process based on my requirements and budget and have been using it for around 2.5 months now. Pros: - Easy product installation. Was able to do it even before the demo got scheduled because I was excited - The demo provided was amazing. The service engineer was well informed and showed a few hidden features as well - 10/10 mapping and obstacle avoidance - The app is very intuitive and self explanatory. Features like auto scheduling and Alexa support are very useful - You can set no entry and no mopping zones which are super useful if you have carpets or areas where you don't want the bot to enter. These zones can be changed for each cleaning cycle also - Auto carpet detection, which means in vacuum only mode, it increases power to clean the carpets. In mopping mode, it will not enter the carpet area once detected - The side brush and vacuum work well to clean out almost 95% of hair and dirt - Easily washable and cleanable accessories Cons: - Mopping is not amazing, but doable - Water flow even at the highest setting for mopping is very less. It's like rubbing a slightly wet cloth against the floor - You cannot use any floor cleaner solutions - The scanner has a slight problem in detecting floor lifts (like bathroom door ledges for eg), not a big issue as such A few disclaimers for ANY robot vacuum at this price in general: - There are some features like auto mop cleaning, mop lift etc which are not available by design itself (won't consider this a "con" exactly, you can look for higher value models) - You will need to clean the mopping pad (preferably after every cycle) and the dust bin (once every 2-3 cycles depending on usage) manually - The bot goes to mopping mode or vacuum mode depending whether or not the mopping pad is attached. There's no setting for this on the app - it is a manual action - This will essentially replace your cleaning help/manual effort. Do the cost analysis accordingly - Depending on your preference, you might want to manually clean your floors once a month

I bought the product two months back. It has various problems including not able to control with the app and it is totally complicated to use. Most funny part is that there is no response from the after service team. They always ask us to register in various numbers and sites but at the end of the day no response. When we we contact them they are enthusiastic in replying at first then they ignore our messages after reading. If we try to contact them thru the same number, they ignore and if we contact thru another number they respond and say the same. But when they understand it's us again, they keep mum. They initially says ther team will contact us in 48 hrs and no one is bothered to call or text us. They don't have a store or after sales service centre in Dubai. In short, my advice is, never go for this useless product. You will simply lose your money and time. The product is just a showcase piece for us now!!! My rating for the product and their service is zero.
