I purchased the Dewalt and the bit broke. The other one just spun loose on the the stripped head. This one looks like really good hard metal and you can feel the weight of it. Put it on the stripped thread and it gripped it immediately like a boss! And the metal screw loosened up immediately!

Bad engineering.1) It has very little grabbing power.2) It is too taperedIn my case when I tapped this in after drilling the bolt this easy out screwed in and because it is so tapered it caused part to crack. Has very little grabbing power and you may need to oversize drill whole. Useless set.I posted another picture of a different manufacturer and pay attention how deep groves are and less tapered. It grabs screw very well and doesn't cause the part to crack. I used Dundoo and regreting it because caused more problems as it cracked the part.

The different sizes meet my needs perfectly. I can easily switch to smaller or bigger sizes to get my work done. And it’s cheap. Great product to buy! Worth my money. Highly recommend it!

The only issue is the the case don't do the best job of keeping the extractors in place, and can fall out easily if bumped.So effective I had trouble removing it from the bolt once I pulled it out.

Unfortunately the tip broke

I was fighting removing a series of stripped torx bolt. It was nice being able to try a few different sizes to find the one with the best grip. The extractors do wear out after several uses. But since there's similar sizes, I can try a slightly larger or smaller one. Each one got out 4 bolts before they started having notable wear.But for the price, and the ability to choose different sizes, it's a decent value. Maybe not the best value for getting out normal bolts, but for recessed bolts I'm quite happy with it.

I had two stripped bolts so I got this kit. First try on the first bolt was amazing - came right out. Tried the second one and I couldn't get it to grab. I don't know if I damaged the bit the first go around or if I just stripped them out to different sizes. Ended up drilling the second out and going up a size in the bits and got it out.Definitely recommend to get the job done. Will have to wait and see if it's a good long term item.
