I wanted something that was simple but robust enough to take a few knocks when I’m working in the garage and this came out top in my research. It’s fair to say that I’m not disappointed. The speaker is waterproof, dustproof, and rustproof with an IP67 rating, which is ideal for the garage environment. It can be used vertically or horizontally, so it has a small footprint, and doesn’t take up much room in the workspace, but I can also hang it by the carrying handle. It paired with my phone, my partner’s phone, and a tablet with no issues at all. To me, the sound is brilliant. I was warned that the bass might not be great, but it has handled all of my special ‘test the speaker out’ tunes and although there could be more bass, what’s is there is more than adequate for the average person, especially if you use the ULT button. I do have the option to add an additional linked speaker in the future if I want to. The battery life is good, too, and I can get at least 2 or 3 evenings out of it before it needs to be charged. All-in-all, a great bit of kit that’s worth the money. Recommended.

Good portable speaker that packs a punch for its size. Handles baseline to reggae genre quite well. At first I was wondering whether to keep it, as I felt the bass coming out was not as heavy as I wanted. However, this is down to how heavy some songs are from the Apple iTunes app, which can differ. In light of that I am really happy with this speaker as it does handle the bass well even at a higher volume. Well made and what you would expect from Sony. I like the orange colour which adds a nice pop of colour the room. Overall a good speaker that handles bass well for its size. Would recommend.

Great product from Sony. If you're looking for a very affordable, good looking speaker - this is the one. The ease of setup is great, just a simple NFC connection with your phone and you're good to go. It has a basic range of functionality, but it's more than enough. The ULT button adds a richer and deeper bass to the music, the speaker sound easily fills a room the size of a classroom for example. Overall a top Sony product.

I am not a HiFi buff but the sound from this for my mostly folk, rock and pop collection is excellent. Pairing with various Apple items ( iPhone; Macair and an ancient iPod ) has been easy and producing good quality and volume

As a seventies teenager, obsessed with and totally absorbed in music.. and with whatever hifi setup I could afford to play it through.. I’m a latecomer to this digital world and have always felt that anything less than a trusty hifi separates setup was akin to listening to tinny transistor radios (I know, what are those any more?) Anyway.. fast forward to the second decade of the new millennium and even this dinosaur has to concede that however saddened he might be by just how differently we listen to music these days, the digital age does offer some real benefits.. and this is deffo one of them. Imagine telling my spotty fifteen year old self that one day he would be able to access an entire library of music, and even store the entire contents of his beloved vinyl collection on his very own personal telephone.. and listen to them on a small, portable, rechargeable speaker that would sound far better than any of the used (and invariably ‘blown’) speakers he’d been able to buy off school friends or second hand shops..?! I digress.. this isn’t the cheapest Bluetooth speaker obviously, but value for money for the sound and tone (resonant bass, without sacrificing clarity of higher ranges) I’ve not heard it bettered by anything in the same price range (and working with young people I get to hear a lot of portable speakers) Quality at a fair price..

Sony en este caso te lo pone muy fácil con el altavoz ULT FIELD 1. Para empezar se nota la calidad de la caja donde viene y el refuerzo que lleva para que en el trasporte no sufra ningún tipo de golpe. Abres y te encuentras con el altavoz envuelto en una bolsita de tela, un cargador tipo C y las debidas instrucciones. Tiene un tamaño muy manejero para que sea factible llevarlo a donde quieras y como apenas pesa tienes la opción de meterlo en un bolso (grandecito), de llevarlo sujeto de la correa (en este caso es una cuerda de buena calidad y que le da una imagen más moderna) o de colgarlo en cualquier lugar sin olvidarnos que nos da la facilidad de posarlo de forma horizontal o vertical. Tiene una pequeña variedad de colores (negro, gris claro, gris oscuro y un vistoso naranja) Al tacto notas un material fuerte entre plástico y tela de cordura impermeable, no en vano nos ofrece certificación IP67 (a prueba de agua y polvo) por lo que puedes disfrutar de el tanto en interior como en el exterior sin miedo a un golpe o a que le caiga agua... jajaja 😂 (Personalmente opino que es mejor no probarlo). Y ahora hablamos de la conectividad... ¡¡Increíble!!.. en cuanto lo enciendes se pone a buscar por Bluetooth y tarda pocos segundos en conectarse. La calidad del sonido es bastante buena para ser tan pequeño, tiene un volumen más que aceptable y dispone de un botón (ULT) que mejora los graves (modificables desde una app). Contamos también con un micrófono incorporado, por si en el momento que estás escuchando música te llamarán (lo acabo de probar y el sonido es nítido, sin eco y sin interrupciones) Realmente estamos contentos. Íbamos buscando algo de calidad que se escuchara bien y que fuera muy fácil de manejar. No queríamos 'perdernos' en un altavoz con infinidad de botones y SONY ULT FIELD 1 es realmente fácil. Tiene solo 6 botones (encendido, bluetooth, pausa, menos, más y ULT)) Otra cosa bastante importante es la duración de la batería. Me ha llegado a durar 10 horas más o menos antes de volverlo a cargar. (No es muy rápido, así que lo cargo durante la noche). Eso sí... (Por ponerle un 'pero') podrían haber incluido un cable más largo para que ponerlo a cargar fuera más cómodo. El que lleva es mini y tiene que estar pegado al enchufe. Conclusión: Lo volvería a comprar sin duda.

Riguardo al suono Nel complesso il suono appare piacevole, i bassi sono presenti e danno una timbrica morbida e rotonda, gli alti spingono e conferiscono brillantezza A colpo d'occhio, ma forse dovrei dire " colpo d'orecchio" sembra tutto piacevole Ma la definizione lascia a desiderare Il suono è impastato e sembra poco naturale Perde dettaglio e definizione Non è la cassa che ascolti per apprezzare le sfumature, mi viene da dire che la preferisco spenta Il prezzo in offerta di 80€ riesce a innalzare il rapporto qualità/prezzo fino a renderla conveniente, poiché nel complesso fa il suo dovere. Ha di buono che l'angolo di dispersione è molto ampio, la puoi ascoltare quasi di lato rispetto alla direzione degli altoparlanti. La potenza è apprezzabile.
