Impressive
This is an impressive item. I needed to do some electronic repairs on SMD components, which are very tiny. Resolution is much sharper than other, older designs in this price range. Professional rigs costs in the hundreds. While this item helped me with the repair, it failed to repair the device I was working on. Disappointed. It couldn't possibly be a lack of skill on my part, so I will update this review when I figure out how to place the blame on this scope.

Functional Microscope Stand, but Not Heavy-Duty
The Cainda Aluminum Alloy Bracket Stand for USB and WiFi Digital Microscopes works good for general use and light-duty inspection tasks. It holds the USB microscope securely and is easy to adjust and position, making it suitable for occasional or hobby-level work. That said, it’s not as heavy-duty as I would prefer for everyday or frequent use. While the aluminum construction is adequate, users needing a more rigid, professional-grade stand may want something sturdier. Overall, this is a decent, functional stand and a good value, but best suited for light to moderate use rather than daily precision work.

Vast improvement over the stock stand.
This stand is strong, holds its position well, and is very stable. I use my microscope almost daily (the stock stand broke) and have yet to have a problem with this item. I question whether the tension will last long term, but at this price point I’m not sure if that matters? I’m very satisfied with this product and do recommend it. The review guide questions the “coolness” of this item. To me, this stand is adequately cool. I think that owning this stand makes people like me more.

Pointless. Magnification not as claimed. Cell phone takes better images with its native lens.
The claimed magnification range of 50-1600x is completely bogus. It has a fixed focal length lens. So it has a single optical magnification - 2x. Yes, you can blow up the images as much as you'd like on your computer or cell phone screen, but that's not what anyone using a microscope would call magnification. And the more you blow them up, the grainier they will get. Moreover, your cell phone camera will do a better job as a microscope than this will. Your cell phone has a much better sensor, far more pixels, and a lot more processing power. Newer phones have a macro mode that gives equivalent optical magnification. You have to connect it to your cell phone to use it. But your cell phone will take better "magnified" images. It's like driving a Ford Focus while towing your Ferrari. Pointless. The images below are of the bar code on the shipping label. The image at left was taken with microscope in its stand (no vibration) at 2x magnification The image at right was taken hand-held by my google pixel 9 in macro mode at 2x magnification. The image resolution and contrast with the pixel 9 are much better.

Good for the price
I am selling coins on eBay and sometimes a picture from my iPhone doesn’t capture details that my prospective buyers need to know about. This little microscope can help. Not perfect (no zoom), but good for my limited budget.

Perfect little bracket
I bought a small handheld microscope from Amazon. After receiving it, I realized I could not work with it hands free. I found this small bracket and it was perfect for securely holding the microscope. The bracket is metal and lightweight, it is able to adjust/tilt at the top and bottom. Good quality.

With a simple instruction leaflet, it took a little time to figure out that this is very powerful but quite clear. It worked fine, simply plug it into my iPhone or iPad and with the App loaded, away you go! Very good clarity, adjustable focus and the included stand, it opens up a microscopic word. Just took me a little while to figure out that results depend on the positioning and focus. Great fun and I can recommend it.

I really like this all-metal stand! It's very lightweight and the build quality is excellent - EVERYTHING except the soft PVC coating of the clamp prongs is metal. There is absolutely no flex in any parts except the clamp and it feels rock solid when placed on a flat surface. There is even nice quality silicone-like feet on the bottom of the stand to prevent it from skidding around your table. While this inexpensive but great quality stand is marketed as a microscope holder I found a ton of other uses on my workbench including holding my flux dispensing syringe and keeping repair parts in place. Recommended!

Works as advertised but, takes a bit of getting used to holding steady while holding your phone and plant at same time.
