Works perfect!
First time using a magnifier and it set up perfect and was shooting a 223 at golf balls at 60 yards! 5X performance was as advertised. You dont have to spend hundreds to get the technology. It was packaged professionally and had a quality appearance

Here's the problem:
When you buy a magnifier for a red dot, you'd better be absolutely positive that the magnifier will line-up with the red dot. I bought 2 different magnifiers to line-up with my Sig Sauer Romeo Red Dot. The first magnifier sat too high, but this Feyachi M38 5X was very close to lining up. I was happy to see this, until I went to the range. Turns out that looking through the Feyachi limited my view by half compared to the Sig Sauer. The interesting thing was that the red dot appeared at the bottom of the magnifier, but my shots were dead-on. The problem was that it took me close to a minute to locate the target every time I shot due to the red dot being at the very bottom of the sight. I tried again and again to get used to this in an attempt to locate the target faster, but nothing worked. I told Amazon that they would be wise to only sell complete units, that is, the red dot scope AND the magnifier made by the same company. That way you'd be sure that they worked together. This mix & match business is probably going to cost Amazon a lot of returns. Another possibility of solving this issue would be for every company that makes magnifiers to list all the red dots that are compatible with it. This way you'd be assured that the magnifier would work with your red dot.

Wanted it to work
I could not get the dot to line up with it. Put the dot in the center and you get partial view. Two different sights. I may try one of their sights with it, but don’t want to abuse the return policy. The magnifier looks good and until you try to line it up with the site and then you can’t look through it normally.

Nice addition to my SBR
I've got this on my SBR mated with a crimson trace 1x optic and they go well together. Eye relief demands that I'm pretty close to the magnifier for a good picture.

Good magnifier with one problem...
This is a good 5x flip to side magnifier with one major problem. The glass is as clear as I would expect at this price point and it feels very solid. The biggest problem I have with it is that there is a button you have to press to flip it to the side or back. In typical use you want to be able to do this rapidly and I feel the button is just one extra step that you don't want to deal with. On top of that It does not have a QD attachment and you have to use tools to attach or detach it from the pic rail. I would have been able to live with this but the button for flipping is not fantastic in my opinion.

Adjustable height for easy aligning with existing Red Dot
I love that you can adjust the height to align easily with any existing Red dot, would of given it 5 stars, but at max zoom(5x) sight becomes blurry. I tried adjust the distance from red dot on rail, but still an issue. but even with standard 3x and 4x its a decent scope for the price.

Another great optic from Feyachi
Lets get the important part out of the way: Feyachi makes great stuff at reasonable prices. I've tested, and mostly still use, a number of their optics now and they are universally good quality, very solidly built, and good quality glass and coatings. I have never had an issue with any of their equipment and some of it I've used quite hard. My simple recommendation: If you're looking for value optics, Feyachi is a great place to start. For this specific optic, I have a3x on my SBR and thought I'd try a 5x. I won't be using it there but it has little to do with the optic itself. It is only because my primary SBR use case doesn't need that much magnification. But for anyone who does want optional 5x mag, this works a treat. The optic is solidly build, glass is clean, clear, and images are crisp. Coatings controlled glare quite well in bright sun. The mount is similarly solid and the action is firm. Nothing flipping, flopping, or drooping here. Click it into place -- boom, you've got 5x! Click is away -- boom, you're back to 1:1. And it stays in either position through carrying, bumping, slinging or, oh yea! Shooting! Rock solid -- sight picture is not shaky or jumping around as you fire off rounds. The optic comes with a highly variable diopter adjustment (I'd guess the latitude is about 3). The adjustment is a bit finer than I like, but this is likely a 'set once and forget it' thing so no big deal. Once dialed in, the images are large, clear, and quite bright. As noted, I won't be keeping it on my SBR, but the optic is small enough, and quality enough, I will be keeping it in my bag as a mini spotting scope.Other aspects: eye relief is about 2.5", it comes with a riser, and they have even added elevation and windage adjustments. This isn't something I've found a need for with other flip-up magnifiers, but if you're not getting proper registration with your setup, you now have an adjustable option. This elevation & windage is to center your EXISTING red dot in this magnifier -- of course, this adjustment will not affect your actual red dot point of aim one bit. Short version: Recommended.

Great Magnifier, flips out of the way, and easy to install
this is a great red dot magnifier, and it comes with a awesome flip to the side mount. When you are not using it, it can be flipped out of the way, and secured in place. Whether it is being used or not, the button must be pressed to change the position. it will be secured, or down, automatically. it is very easy to install, and very easy to adjust. Depending on the optics you are using with it, you may have to use the riser plates, or not. After installing it the first time, you can remove it and replace it easier after that. great product, great price. Highly recommended.
