Commercial Law: Text, Cases and Materials Paperback – 27 April 2017

This is book is the product of fine scholarship and extensive experience of teaching undergraduates and post graduates. As a collection of materials accompanied by a wonderful commentary it can't be beaten and the clarity of thought shines through. If you want to understand commercial law then this book needs to be close at hand.

Great book

I use this book for my undergraduate Commercial Law course.I cannot say confidently that this book is clearly written for student reading . I find it very difficult to follow the argument and some of the texts are written on the basis of the fact that readers possess some knowledge behind the logic of the concept explained. Even a chapter that I had previous knowledge from Company Law was written overly complicated and I find this book not really helpful for my understanding.Maybe a good book for academic but a worse choice for undergraduate students.

The authors provided an in-depth description of the SOGA, the heart of most consumer transactions. The authors also provided a good basis on financial instruments in such commercial transaction that provide readers a basic understanding of these instruments. The chapter on INCOTERMS only covers FOB and CIF case laws, a rather brief touch-and-go thought. On the whole, a marvellous book worth having.

I like the detailed nature of the chapters

i liked it because it was drafted in a consisted manner, however, some of the topics were not discussed in depth. i bought it in order to assist me with my exams at banking law.

the book was delivered on time and was exactly what I wanted.
