Deeper Than 737 Book
I love Captain Ray's 737 book, so decided to pick up the Airbus one for hobby simulation purposes. I was surprised to find something with more detail that seems to have been written for actual pilots. Since I'm not one of those, I can't comment on its real-world application. For simulation, it was a bit more than I expected, based on the 737 book, but in the end I was glad for the bonus material. It covers a lot of stuff that isn't ordinarily simulated. So, depending on what you're looking for, it might seem too little or too much, but for me, it was a good purchase.

Great book for Sim pilot, too!
I love flying the Toliss A320 and A319 on X-Plane 12, and this book has been fantastic in increasing my depth of knowledge on these aircraft. Excellent, easy reading with tons of great pics explaining all the panels and systems. I already had an FCOM and QRH, but this adds another great amount of info for the A320 series. Very happy I bought it. Thumbs up!

Mike Ray has this special way to teach the airbus stuff
I am not an english born language, then sorry for my mispellings. This book is a very good tool to one who needs to improve his airbus A320 knowledge, in my case is for flying simulations purpose. I know how to fly an airbus in FSX, but I would like to know the whys we have to pull that and push those buttons and understand clearly all the procedures to take off, climb, cruise, descent, approach and landing without the instintive way only. I love the way that Mike Ray speaks about the important things about this wonderfull machine. It is a good book with millions of valuable informations for the sim or the professional pilots.

Great Book for Aspiring Pilots!
My 12 year old son ordered this book because he is obsessed with becoming a pilot. He absolutely loves it! It’s the only book I haven’t had to force him to read all summer. Two thumbs up from me!

Must read prep material for A320 TRI-s out there
Great book for those professional pilots who are preparing for their instructor's course. So many great tips and advice on how to explain things to students or pilots new to the A320 family.

So, my German is pathetic but the book is in English anyway, so I'll use that language for my 2 cents. As an aviation enthusiast and avid flightsimmer I LOVE this book. The content, the way of presentation (controversial but helps to remember details IMO) and even a bit cheesy American sense of humor. The book provides pretty deep level of technical detail. You may want to google all 4 volumes of A320 FCOM and FCTM for full picture, but Mike Ray highlights everything what matters in a fun and concise way. What's real gem from my perspective is glimpse into HOW this aircraft is truly operated in a real world. And WHY these are that procedure. The only caveat is that apparently it is following United SOP which is different from Airbus SOP (for this see FCOM vol. 3 along with FCTM). The only negative is that I picked the 'soft cover' version, which is not very convenient if you use it as a reference while flying (in the PC flightsim obviously). This was however conscious choice as spiral-bound version is som much more expensive. HOWEVER - I would think twice again, especially if you are going to use it for flightsimming and plan to keep it on your desk next to your keyboard and sidestick ;) To sum up - if you hate American cheesy jokes, subtract one star, otherwise its perfect! &

It explains the operating of all the switches buttons and displays of the A320 but is not a operating manual for the msfs 2020 A320.
