Bosch quality. Usefully, it tells you if a battery has a fault.

Very fast charging and no problems. I have 5 different Bosch Chargers for the 10.8/12V cylindrical batteries. The older style teardrop shape versions take around an hour from flat for the 3Ah batteries while these newer GAL 12V-40 chargers take 30-40 minutes and are a bit more compact on the workbench. I much prefer these newer design chargers, it is easier to clip the battery in and out and the newer charger seems to do a better job cell balancing with the individual cell voltages matching better after charging. The charger is also a much more contemporary design and looks a lot better in my opinion.

Well worth the upgrade from the smaller supplied charger with some bosch tools. Bigger charger and much faster I rundown a few batteries to about half charge to test it and literally fully charged them all back to full in such a short time from green flashing led to solid ...fully charged. It's gonna save you time no doubt ,can recommend its Bosch say no more.

Seems to be made better than the original charger and fits in drill soft case/bag with the drill just!
