Just mounted this today with the hero 8 black looking to do some riding on Memorial Day! This feels very strong and sturdy. It’s pretty simple to install I just went by the pictures to get an idea. Wish they had a web site with bigger install pictures. One issue I ran into(no fault of the product) is my helmet has a slight rubber coating however so I had to sand it down a bit to ensure better adhesion. Love this mount it’s cheap, effective, and functional. Only thing is I do wish they included another angled mount so that if you have two helmets with curved surface you could easily swap the mount.

Although it’s perfect for helmets of any type the tape it comes with was my ONLY issue. If you buy this product I’d highly recommend getting a different brand of tape such as 3M tape. The tape it came with wasn’t sticky enough for the helmet but other than that it was perfect for my GoPro hero 10 set up.

Great value! You get a TON of stuff in the package. I did not use the curved or straight adhesive mounting bracket that comes with it , I used GoPros curved bracket and just attached the arm to that. The adhesive that comes with this does not seem as sticky as GoPros 3M. That’s the only complaint I have. However, the curved arm is VERY sturdy thick plastic (the same as GoPros attachments) and I definitely trust it holding my GoPro. I love that you can bend and contort it anyway that works best for your helmet or whatever angle you’re trying to film. I’ve used it on multiple rides and so far it’s great! 😊

Plastic wrench provided does not tighten screws well. Screwdriver was not effective either.Attachments do not hold up. Camera ended up sagging after a few minutes of riding. Wind also causes it to sag.Attachments are too short in some areas and too long in others. The positions are awkward and you will struggle finding a good camera position. A 360° mount would be highly recommended over this.The product is too brittle and cheap. A tab broke while adjusting an arm. Fortunately I had a GoPro attachment to replace it. The GoPro attachment feels much more solid.Adhesive is surprisingly good. It stood up to all the riding.

I have an ICON AIRFLITE helmet. If you know, they have the face shield that comes down the chin. I didn’t want to mount a camera to the visor or the top or on the side. This thing is awesome. It stays put. I don’t use the little strap fastener. I just have it set to a specific tension and if I need to I just push it out of the way. It doesn’t move or rattle.

Update:So I gave this a try on a handful of rides, and I can't recommend it and will not be using it in the future. Here are my issues in severity order:- It's impossible to steady it. The base does not sit flush in the adhesive mount and rocks back and forth- The final screw in the final (base) joint does not prevent the arm from swinging, regardless of how much you tighten it- The plastic and the joints don't feel strong- The safety thread is short and not easy to attach or detachOriginal review:Even though the instructions aren't super clear, it was fairly straightforward to install.I ended up using an original GoPro adhesive mount since those come with 3M adhesive and I'm not sure how much I can trust the ones that come with this product.Two things I had issue with are:- The provided tool is fairly useless. It's cheap plastic that 'skips' over the nut, it is hard to maneuver with, and ultimately you still need to use a screwdriver, so just use the screwdriver everywhere- The instructions recognize that most helmets will require a curved adhesive mount since you're positioning the camera on the chin. However, the little round plastic mount for the safety rope is flat. The rope is fairly short, which is good, but that requires me (at least for my Shoei RF1200) to place it on a non-flat surface. I wonder why this doesn't come in a curved form as wellI'll update after actually using it for a bit. Overall seems ok so far.

For a motocross helmet definitely look elsewhere, no idea how this has so many positive reviews, but the stickiness is pathetic am switching to a Velcro type instead of this hoping that it will actually stay on the helmet.
