Excellent value, complete network tool kit
I love this kit — it offers excellent value for money and includes everything you need in one compact package. The tools feel solid and well made, especially for the price. The crimping tool works reliably, the cable tester is very handy for quickly checking connections, and having extras like the punch-down tool and wire stripper included makes this a very complete kit. Everything fits nicely into the carrying case, which is great for keeping things organized and portable. I’ve used it for several Ethernet cables already, and it has performed exactly as expected with no issues. Whether you’re doing occasional home networking jobs or light professional work, this kit covers all the basics and more. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a versatile, affordable network tool kit.

Everything you need for Ethernet termination at an astounding price.
For a twenty buck kit, this ain't bad. I've been making Ethernet cables since the 90s, thousands upon thousands of them over the decades. I've used just about every tool out there. Is this as nice as that German crimper I had back in 2000 that cost a few hundred bucks? No, but this Ampcom crimper does the job just dandy. It's racheting lock so you always get full compression on the crimp. The tubular striper is cool, I've not see that before and works quite well. The punchdown tool seems adequate, but I haven't used it much and will keep rocking my classic Harris one. The mini dikes are nice and of good quality. Anyway, for $20 it's quite the bargain and you won't feel like you're using substandard tools. You get a lot of decent quality tools for the price. If you went to the hardware box store to pick up the same kit I doubt you could get everything for under $100, and it wouldn't be any better quality. Unless you're building data centers and making custom sized patch cables all day long, this kit will do you just fine.

Good Kit
I was honestly surprised at the quality of this kit! Is it going to win any awards? No, but it's $20. If you're a hobbyist that will crimp the occasional cable (like myself) these will absolutely do the job. If you're a professional you'll be spending a lot more. The case that it comes in is handy and the included connectors are a nice touch. I'm a former electrician that still has all of my tools, so I'll still use my Klein dikes and Ideal strippers, but these will absolutely work. Overall a good kit at a great price that will suffice for any non-professional out there!

Very nice set of tools
Very nice kit of tools and supplies for building ethernet cables. I have built two cables so far. I am not going to say it was easy, but that is just because you have to get all of the wires in the correct slot. I would say that pass through connectors would be a nice upgrade. Those are easy to order separately. Very nice to get the tester. The crimping tool works great.

Get one today!
This is actually a decent pack here , was running wires from my modem- router then to the my pcs and servers and it handled everything without an issue! Even came with some Ethernet tips which helped out because I forgot where I put the bad of them haha . Only thing I’d add to this would be that I wish it came with a Ethernet reader so I could test them before running the weird, do have pretty good experience so I was confident

Not as easy as pass-through but decent set
I'm an electrical engineer and home computer hobbyist. I learned to build Ethernet cables early in my career and memorized the proper sequence for wiring Ethernet cables nearly 30 years ago. Fortunately, they never changed it, and I still recall and build cables on occasion today. For this set, first let me say that it is not pass-through. That fact is clearly stated in the description that I didn't read well enough so I'm not going to grade against that since I'm focusing on this product. Had I realized this however, I would not have acquired this product. After building cables for many years with the traditional method, I switched to pass-through connectors a couple of years ago and I would absolutely never go back. Pass through is just so much easier. Regarding this product, however, the set is really nice and is fairly complete, with ends, boots, a decent positive-crimp crimping tool, a decent pair of cutters, and a less impressive wire stripper/punch down tool. Most of the parts seem to be of pretty decent quality, with the exception of the yellow wire stripper/punch down tool. I've seen this type quite a bit recently, but I don't find that they work particularly well. Beyond this kit, what you is some cable and then either a tester or a very strong prayer since building this type of cable is tricky at best, especially for someone inexperienced and using a non pass-through connector (did I mention pass through would be easier?). You have to get each of the 8 wires cut almost perfectly even, each shoved down into their own slot, and not too long or you won't have proper strain relief. I definitely suggest investing in a tester because precision required to properly install the ends is high. Overall, this is a decent kit for a beginner. You could find upgrades for any of the tools but aside from the yellow stripper, the quality difference you'll find isn't that significant, but the cost will be. I do feel any proper kits should have a tester as well though since these cables are prone to errors.
