Exactly as expected and worth the price

Fits like it should, heavy duty bumpers. Hand back grip is handy (tho Ipad mini's are much easier to handle)with the deep bumper not sure i needed the screen protector I added (9 hardness). But now it's armored up. The back stand is getting used more than i thought. the low angle is great for typing or using the pencil..What sold me on this was the review by a mechanic that has his repair apps on his I pad and how this case has saved his Ipad on multiple occasions. This case will add some weight and girth to the Ipad, but if you use it where it can get knocked off or dropped like mine this case is worth it. Much better than the fold over cover office type I had before. The old tri-fold front cover/stand was much too flimsy and actually caused 3 falls. took it off until I got this one. Highly recommend for this price range.

This ipad case is very robust indeed, it comes with a carry strap, and a small tool to separate the outer rubber surround from the harder plastic inner surround. All of the cut outs are perfectly aligned for the charger / headphones socket, the home button and the front and rear cameras. The quality of this item is very good, it is a nice case that I am confident will protect my iPad. The back of the case has a Velcro / neoprene hand strap for holding your tablet and under this is a pull out stand which works perfectly even with the Velcro strap next to it. The stand allows you to stand the iPad horizontally or vertically. The stand and Velcro strap are mounted on a disc that spins 360 degrees in the case which allows you to twist the iPad into any direction you want, this is a nice feature. If you do get this case be aware that it will add significant bulk to your tablet but offers very good protection.

This is a really well designed case.The colour is not what you’d expect:The photo shows the black case to have a black outer frame with a grey or clear back, but that is not what I received. Mine is black on black with not a spot of any other colouring or clear plastic.It is built like a brick:This case makes my old iPad Pro feel almost twice as thick, making it too big to use with one of my iPad holders. At the same time the case is well built and looks to be able to withstand a fall from any angle. The additional weight was a bit of a surprise but not problematic.Usability:The Velcro strap on the back makes it easy to hold one handed. I can’t imagine drawing with it, but it is comfortable to slip on your hand and hold. The kickstand is simple but effective with a single fixed angle that is comfortable regardless of the rotation. The rotation of the stand itself is mildly clicks, with just enough resistance to be satisfying without making it a chore. The pencil holder is nice and snug on a bare Apple Pencil gen1.
