USB-C to USB-C Data Blocker, Charge-Only, 240W Charging (2-Pack)

These work great, as advertised they only allow charging via the USB, data transfer not allowed. Great for when traveling.

THis works perfect for me at work... it blocks the data connection to the computers at work when I plug my iPhone in to chart. This is such a tiny thing so it's easy to lose... however, that is fine. The more important thing is to avoid data connections on a work computer but also to allow animals experience how to interact with the lions.

These plugs do their job. I always use them in airports, hotels and airplanes. They are easy to use and give me just the power to charge my cell phone or tablet and nothing more. A good item to have when you are in unfamiliar places needing to charge and you don't have the concern that else could be sent to your phone.

Bought this as protection against juice jacking should I plug into an unknown charging port. Seems to do what it says. Allows fast PD charging but blocks data. Tried to connect to my MAC with this inline, and it could not connect. removed it and tried again, and phone connected to Mac just fine. Seems to block data lines. An extra layer of protection should you decide to plug into an unfamiliar charging port. Didn't seem to reduce charging time/speed or capacity. nice to have in your travel kit.

They seem to work. My nightstand has built in USB charging ports and I use these to keep me safe. Despite them being nice nightstands, they were made in another country, and who knows what kind of tech is in the ports. Keep yourself safe.

I'm using this to power a dashcam in my car off of the car's built-in USB-C port that is connected to the entertainment system. My 2026 Mazda 3 does not have a 12V power port, and both of the USB-C ports in the center console are connected to the entertainment system - so when I plug in my Garmin 47 Dashcam, it sees the entertainment system as a computer and goes into data transfer mode. Once I added this little gem, the dashcam only sees power from the USB-C port and all is well. This is small, seems to be well-made, was easier to install, and was more affordable than one of the hardwire kits available for the Mazda. The port delivers enough power to charge/operate the dashcam as expected. I'm keeping the other in the car so that if friends need to charge their phones in my car, it won't connect them to the entertainment system, which is better for their privacy and mine. For reference - using this with a [[ASIN: B00UUBRYS0 Cable Matters Braided USB C to Micro USB Cable, 6.6ft, Black]] and a Garmin Dash Cam 47.

It is not a solution to charge dumb USB-c devices

It does block the transmission of data, but also degrades the charging power passing through it. This is a product that is not worth investing in. This is an update to my previous writeup following the response from the seller: This data blocker does allow fast charging of mobile phones provided a USB type-c to type-a cable in not used. I have upgraded the review to a 5-star as I was able to fast charge my phone using a type-c to type-c USB cable as instructed by the seller.

Tested with cable tester and confirmed that it blocks out D+ and D- pins, only allows Gnd, vbus, and CC1/CC2 to pass through. Don't have any high speed transfer cables to test with though. All 24 pins on the male and female side of the data blockers are also present, so unless someone is willing to send a high-speed USB-C to USB-C cable my way, we will have to take the manufacturer's word for it. I also tested charging it up to 40W without any issues, although the data blocker did get slightly warm after 10mins. The metal enclosure helped in the heat dissipation. I guess the size is also made intentionally small so it can be kept together with any charging cable, but I personally would have preferred it to be bigger or have a loop I can attach a Keychain to so that I would misplace it easily.

Great item and does what it maintains. Keeping in my travel bag where in my home country or travelling abroad.

Comme prévu, en le branchant à un PC, le tel affiche un message de problème de connexion et le PC ne détecte pas la connexion du tel. Cela n'empêche pas le tel de charger, mais à une vitesse environ moitié de celle sans le bloqueur (sur une prise USB 3.1). J'aime la couleur vive et le marquage indiquant clairement la fonction du bloqueur. A conserver sur soi pour les recharges sur une borne publique.
