British Auto Legends: Classics of Style and Design

It's a coffee-table book, not particularly incisive and neither does it say anything controversial, other than the almost universal praise. The book itself receives three stars, but given the price and the accurate description of the product, there being a slight tear in the backbone, I think it deserves its four stars. Mind you, I would have been a bit miffed if I paid the full price but this rather flimsy book. So I'd recommend the supplier, but not the book.

This book looks ideal - bought as a present. When wrapping it today, I couldn’t remove the price label so removed the protective polythene wrapping only to find I still couldn’t remove the price from the fly leaf. Removed the fly leaf but the price label remains on the actual book itself - it appears to be part of the shiny, plasticised coating. I’m disappointed by this but too late now - will have to give the book as it is.

British Auto Legends was given to me by my son some months ago, and has kept me salivating ever since, so it was impossible not to buy it for a friend's birthday, as he is as loony about good cars AND GREAT PHOTOGRAPHY as I am!What a book. The pictures are of beautiful quality, with interesting notes on each vehicle, and therefore a total joy to own. The only problem is that I have only been driven in a few of the featured autos, and actually driven even fewer, but one can still dream and drool!Thoroughly recommended.

Purchased this as a Christmas present - my husband is a classic car enthusiast so was quite pleased with this book. Nice high gloss photos!

I got this as a Christmas present for my son who had grand ambitions to be a car designer. Given it had an Aston Martin on the front he was delighted.
