Olympia Water Systems Alkaline Remineralization Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration System with 80GPD Membrane - Increases Water pH

My doctor suggested that some of my health problems may be fluoride-related, and suggested that I switch to bottled spring water or purchase a reverse osmosis system. Then I found out the chlorate levels in my municipal water supply were extremely high. After talking to friends and family who have used reverse osmosis systems, it was highly suggested I get one with a remineralization filter. This system fit the bill at a much lower price than expected. I've owned it almost two months now. The water tastes amazing. Between the filtered water and filtered ice, I'm drinking over 100 oz most days. Food tastes better when cooked with this water, particularly rice noodles. It's also made coffee and tea taste amazing. Water flow is strong. I purchased a refrigerator kit to go with it and the entire installation took less than two hours. The included faucet is a nice quality faucet and feels very good. The on-off valve is extremely smooth. The only problem I had with installation was over-tightening the valve on the reserve tank. I heard it crack but hoped it wouldn't leak. It did. Ryan from Olympia sent me a replacement valve for free even though it was a clearly my fault for over-tightening it. In fact, It arrived extremely quick. During installation, I had to make sure all the compression fittings were properly set. Most leaks I experienced at first were because I didn't have the hose all the way in. I did have to make a few cuts to hose from the ice maker kit before I got it straight enough that it didn't leak. I've done basic plumbing work before. Amazing unit for the price. I'm very happy. As far as I'm concerned, this was money well spent.

This is a Review for the Olympia Water Systems Alkaline Re-mineralization Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration System with 80 GPD Membrane. The system arrived as expected. It contained all the necessary parts. It was relatively easy to install. If you have all metal pipes under your sink, meaning that the drain/waste pipes are all metal, then it will be quite difficult to attach the RO system's waste water tube. Be sure to note that if you have the re-mineralization system you need to check the single insert sheet of paper that comes with the installation instructions just so you don't get confused as to the flow/attachment order for the tubing. Alternatively you can pretty much logic it out and see what tubes connect to what parts of the system. If you have NO experience with using tools, plumbing, or anything like this, then I would recommend that you get assistance for the installation. It does not require a plumber to do the work, but it does require some basic knowledge of water pressure, how water flows, how the drain/waste pipes work under the sink, etc. The water quality was much better than other more basic (cheaper) systems on the market that I've used in the past. My family really likes the taste and quality of the water. I even did a blinded side by side comparison between unfiltered tap water, Aquasana 2 stage carbon filtered water, Arrowhead bottled water, and the Olympia RO Re-Mineralized water and the Olympia water was the winner in my family.

I had my first RO system for 12 years. It was great, but getting hard to find filters and the system was not dispensing all of the water from the tank due to a decrease in air pressure from the bladder. Taking the tank out by disconnecting all of the hoses to add air to the tank was a drag. This new system was a great price, easy to install and the water tastes great. It only took about 30 minutes to install. I love that it remineralizes the water. A safer drinking option than purified water that can lead to a variety of health issues.

I love this water filtering system! The water tastes pure and healthy now. Before the filter my water tasted flat and chemical like. The price is amazingly reasonable for such a sophisticated filtering system! The installation is not that difficult with a little patience and focus. Thankfully the customer service helpline is extremely helpful😊

Excellent RO System. I haven't hooked up the alkaline cartridge yet. Waiting for the well water, which is slightly acidic, to be hooked up to the main line. Currently using City water. Tastes excellent. Tastes the same as the previous system (Watts Premier RO Pure Plus bought from Costco) that we had. The installation was very easy. The filters are larger than the Watts system. Watts filter cartridges are proprietary, while Olympia uses standard filter cartridges. So, you can buy filters from other vendors as well. TDS meter showed a reduction in TDS from 43ppm to 6ppm.

Water tastes GREAT!!! No more bottled water. Very good quality unit, and very easy to install. Directions were very detailed. I put this on my water/Ice line that goes to my fridge. I did speak with Ryan before I purchased this and he was very knowledgeable and actually followed up with me after the install. We are on well water (with softener) this system reduced my TDS from 1,130ppm to 95ppm. Everyone that drinks this water loves it. Very happy with purchase!!

A great product. Easy to assemble, a bit more to install, great function. I have had two in our homes without any problems. Keep the filter fresh and the water is pure, not like bottled water...recommend this product to those who have poor quality water supplies.....
