Excellent stand/mount for tablets and portable gaming devices. In a first class seat, the flight attendant wouldn’t let me attach it to the arm rest tray table so I used this thing as a stand, and it was still quite stable. In a regular airline seat, I was able to install the mount while the tray table was stowed. I mounted a Lenovo Legion Go 2 and it worked flawless. I love it so much that I bought two of these mounts. I keep my other one at home at the edge of my gaming table. That way I can keep it updated and charged while at home.

Time of Ownership: 2 Weeks Usage So Far: 40+ hours (22 in 737 airplanes, 10 on tables, 8 in Lyfts) Devices used with: Surface Pro 13" without case, iPhone Pro Max with Otterbox Defender Stability: Flawless Durability: Yet to be determined, but so far, so good Portability: totally acceptable given what we're asking it to do (does not fold flat, but fits in backpack) Regrets: NONE! Concerns: will it hold up? I think so... it seems really, really well engineered and constructed Alternatives: there are a lot to pick from - Klearlook, ChargeWorx, the foldy/bendy things, Perilogics, MiiKARE, woleyi Gooseneck, and Lamicall - but the things that made this KDD Travel Tablet Holder superior to me were: 1) joints look HEAVY DUTY in that they are like gears and each join has its own lockdown tightener. 2) This expands large enough to hold 13" surface without case, no questions asked 3) Stability - no bobble or wobble unless the whole car or airplane shakes. It is as close as you can get to mounting the device directly to the seat in front of you. 4) not TOO much extension from the seat in front of you - if the passenger in front of you leans ALL the way back, and you're still upright, it gets much closer to your face, but not in your face. No need to adjust. I admit the 13" tablet was a little closer than I'd normally have when this happened, but still, not too close to bother me at all. More of a surprise when they leaned all the way back from upright. The only 2 reasons why I can think anyone should avoid this are: 1. If you don't have the finger strength/dexterity to turn/crank down the joints tightly. A normal, healthy teen or adult should have no issues, but someone with extreme age or weakness should get this and something that has a simple spring or clamp and then decide once they get hands on experience. 2. If you need a holder that folds flat. Otherwise, if you're like me, and wanted something heavy duty that works in planes, trains, automobiles, and tables, this seems to be the one.

Pretty solid, just a bit difficult for thicker protective cases

Great product! I bring this with me on all my flights and it is such a valuable travel item to have. It is sturdy and stays in place, even with a large table in a protective case. It mounts easily and is highly adjustable. Highly recommended!

Love this mount. Used it on the plane for a 5 hour plane ride, fits my iPad, switch and switch 2. Also works in the car attached to the headrest. Great value and good quality. Super durable and compact.

Works, but a little bulky for travel

While this phone holder is a bit bulkier than I expected, I actually like that it feels sturdy and substantial. It’s advertised for airplane use, but it felt like a bit of overkill for shorter flights and ended up attaching it to an outdoor bench—and it’s held up great in all kinds of weather! It securely fits both phones and tablets easily! My favorite feature is that it’s spring-loaded. It makes it super easy to pop your phone in and out without constantly tightening or adjusting anything. Really impressed with how versatile and durable this thing is.

After an exhaustive Amazon search, I came across this holder and two others that claimed to support large tablets like my hefty Samsung model, which I always travel with. This was the only one that truly delivered on its promise. It securely held my oversized tablet without any issues. The build is solid, and the materials feel premium. While it’s slightly heavy, the weight makes sense—it is due to the material used to be strong enough to properly hold the tablet, but the weight is not heavy enough to discourage me to bring it with me. In contrast, the other options I tested were lighter and more compact but failed miserably. One didn’t fit my tablet as advertised, and both had tray-mounted designs that couldn’t handle the tablet’s weight—the tablet would not stay facing upwards, would be facing down. Those holders might work for smaller devices like iPad minis or phones, but they’re not suited for anything larger, making their ads misleading. This one is a keeper. I’m extremely satisfied with its performance and would absolutely recommend it.

Compré este producto porque necesitaba un soporte para el iPad mientras estudio. Se acopla bien en mesas anchas y tiene buena estabilidad. Los materiales son muy buenos para el precio que tiene (no es plástico "baratero"). Cabe un iPad sin problema, pero también puedes acoplar un móvil si lo deseas. Puedes girar todos los anclajes del aparato y sujeta todo muy bien. Sin duda calidad 10/10.

C'est exactement ce que je cherchais pour regarder mes séries et mes films avec mes airpods!! Utilisé sur 2 vol Paris Tokyo. Testé en éco et Premium sur Avion 777-300 et A350. sur tablette fermée et ouverte pendant le repas. Fonctionne parfaitement bien Le mécanisme est robuste et respire la qualité. Un peu lourd et prend un peu de place, mais franchement ca vaut le coup !
