Cant play roblox, cheap but powerful pc
I recently purchased this HP Stream 14" HD BrightView Laptop. I was disappointed with its performance. I think it's better to spend a little more money and get a better computer. You cant even play simple games like roblox, the material feels cheap and looks cheap. The resolution is bad, but for just work it's pretty powerful. Just make sure to turn off S mode. I wouldn't buy this if I were you. Unless its strictly for work. I also suggest getting a refurbished Mac air 2013 , old but runs better and looks better than this.

Beware Microsoft's Attempt to Block Google Chrome
Nice little laptop, but you may find it extremely difficult to outsmart Microsoft if you want Google Chrome to be your default browser. I almost returned the computer, but gave it one more try and now have Google search and Google Chrome. It was a frustrating time. Beware.

Malfunctioned in three months
The computer was signed at first for basics, but I’ve only had it for three months and absolutely nothing has been spilled on it or anything that could’ve gone wrong and suddenly the spacebar, C, V, B, and keys aren’t working and it malfunctions with excel spreadsheet sometimes And I can’t seem to get support. I was going to return it initially because it didn’t have the little number keyboard off to the right, but that was my fault for not paying attention and I just decided to have it as an extra laptop. I also haven’t been able to download certain programs for work and it picked up a couple viruses very quickly that I’m totally unsure how that happened because the things I use it for our extremely basic. Very disappointed.

Interesting
The package for the laptop was very well done. To my surprise it came with extra storage which was nice. For the price of the laptop it is nice, I will add that it is a bit laggy but this laptop is perfect when it's on sale. The sound quality is pretty much the same as a phone. Setup is pretty basic for any other laptop. There is a bit of slackness and latency.

cheap and works great
list of reasons why this deserves 5 stars. 1. looks cool. it looks like carbon fiber. 2. it's really fast. don't know if it's because of the 16 gigs of ram or the 4 core processor but it's really quick. 3. the price. this cost a little more than a notebook and you get a lot for it. 4. all the connections i needed. . hdmi for a second monitor , high speed 3.0 usb's to run my interface and a 3.0 usb-c. 5. the hotface usb hard disc and power hub are really handy. thanks for the great deal

Exit S Mode!!!
If your laptop runs slow, Get out of S mode!!! I initially ran into the same problem . It turned out that it was first run under Win 11 S Mode. The S mode uses up all the memory that’s why it’s slow af. Just exit S mode once you're done with initial configuration and desktop is loaded. (Try googling how to exit S mode on your phone or on a different computer and follow the instructions there)

Simple
*update - a few months later, and I'm kicking myself for not listening to other reviews. It's very slow, and crashes all the time. There are a lot of programs I can't even use on the computer. More than 2 tabs open and it freaks out. The help menu randomly pops up and gets stuck where it comes up back to back until I restart the computer. Don't buy this unless you're going to do basically nothing on it. So far so good, it's day 1 though I'll update further along. Set up was easy, didn't freeze on me. Switched out of S Mode easily to download Chrome. It's smaller than I was thinking but I could've measured properly and figured that out so that's on me. Not bad for the price honestly. Runs fine, decent speed. Haven't tried out the external storage but I mostly use online storage anyway so I doubt I'll need much. It's a little bulky, and of course a bit older you can tell but I wasn't expecting fancy at this price point.
