Immortally Yours: An Argeneau Novel

Just not as good as the others...
Disappointing - Have always loved the Argeneau family and the books - BECAUSE of the human element. Hiding from humans. Humans discovering what they are - struggling to understand or taking it in stride. Having TWO immortals falling in love (with so many stupid miscommunications and misunderstandings! aurgh) just wasn't as entertaining. The writing was just as good... but Scotty wasn't like the other "life mates" in that he wanted her mind wiped at 2 different times in her life - and it always seems like it was for HIS peace of mind - not hers like a life-mate would want... and them not really "talking" to each other honestly... just bothered me. Could be just me. But I've read ALL the books at least two times... this one just missed the mark. And for the cost??? Not much of a value IMO.

Passion Filled Rollercoaster Ride
Immortally Yours by Lynsay Sands is her latest Argeneau Novel. It's Beth and Scotty's story. This novel takes place in the same timeframe as Immortal Unchained. It takes place in Canada with the North American enforcers. It is a standalone novel that doesn't directly advance the series main storyline.Beth had one of the most tragic lives of any mortal. The rollercoaster ride of hurt, betrayal, heartache, backstabbing and tragedy that Beth endured as a mortal would have broken most people. A chance meeting with an immortal named Dree and the friendship they shared was the only bright spot in her mortal life. Dree saved Beth's life and finally allowed her to make her own choices for the first time. But even Dree couldn't protect her from the horrible way she would become an immortal.Fast forward 100 years, Scotty, the immortal that saved her and Dree's lives 125 years ago has come into her life again. But is he finally ready to tell Beth his her lifemate? Is he finally able to accept Beth's past life, her mortal life and the choices she had made for her or by her? What about his baggage? The story of how these two lifemates finally wake up to each other and accept what Fate had known all long will keep you on the edge of your seat. You'll run the gambit of emotions and flip back and forth on how you feel about the characters. The heartache and tragedy is overwhelming. The ability to overcome, succeed and thrive will give you something to aspire to. I must say this novel is deeper, darker and more heartfelt than the rest of the series. The dry humor that makes me laugh out loud while reading this series isn't there but the thoughtfulness, heartache, and triumph are amazing. I can't wait to see what's next.

Nice Romance Mixed With A "Whodunnit"
When I made my change over to Kindle, this was one of the 3-4 series I had in paperback that I kept. Those first 8-10 books were amazing, funny, and just plain entertaining. The series has never reached that level again sadly for me.This was another Rogue Hunter novel and the romance was more frustrating than interesting, the mystery was done well and I only figured it out shortly before we knew who it was but the main thing here is that it was a decent 4 Star novel, for awhile there I was sure it was going to drop to 3 but it did pick up a bit but still nothing like those first books I loved. The romance was confusing and frustrating most of the book, the mystery was done well in that there were not any real TSTL moments. Really it could have been another series altogether it was so disjointed from those early books.Bottom Line: It was good, it was entertaining but not exceptionally so and it was nothing like those laugh out loud books that hooked me into this series. 4 Stars for a good story and keeping the "whodunnit" until the end.

Loved the depth found in Scotty and Beth's story!!!
I really enjoyed the life mate story of Cullen "Scotty" McDonald and Elizabeth "Beth" Argenis. Scotty is head of the European Imortals Council and Rogue Enforcement. He is currently in Canada to help out with the shortage that they are experiencing as so many of their enforcers were sent to South America to resolve an issue there. Beth is one of Mortimers enforcers in Canada and also happens to be Scotty's life mate. She is unaware of that because it seems to her Scotty always treated her like he cannot stand her. Both Scotty and Beth each had one really terrible abusive parent in their lives that shaped the way they are now. This is a story of how the challenges, trials and tribulations we encounter quite often will make someone stronger and better as a person. It is also a story of how people can make judgments about other people, be biased, and small minded at times. It also has someone who is trying to kill Beth and it appears to be someone with an inside track to everything. Great story and I have enjoyed this entire series but really enjoyed the depth of these characters. Great job!!!

ANOTHER GREAT EMOTIONAL HOT READ BETWEEN 2 LIFEMATES
Beth Argenis & Laird Cullen 'Scotty'. LOVED seeing more of the tempestuous & argumentative relations these 2 had towards each other. They Both have known for nearly as long as they had met & Beth became an Immortal over the 100 yrs ago. But this episode of the Argeneau series we see 1 attack after another attack against Beth, & at first they thought it was a fluke until after the 3rd attempt but it then started to question who from The Enforcers' Family was doing these such near misses towards Beth but not so lucky for others..But heck how I loved & laughed towards the way Scotty reacted & acted towards & to Beth. Then there's the sorrow you feel for her, when we go further into her Mortal life, then finding that there were interlinking similarities that Beth & Scotty shared as mortals, though from one end of the island to the other & over 800yrs apartAnother Fantastic Argeneau Episode Lynsay Sands has done again. Can't wait for the next one

The Adopted Argeneau
Beth and (forgive me if I’ve spelled this wrong) Scotty’s story. They’ve been lifemate’s for a long time, but only one of them has really known. Scotty, having a few (major) family issues doesn’t know is he can get over his past to accept Beth’s shady history, but not can he entirely let her go or stope loving her either.Beth, a fierce warrior, is obstinate about pretty much everything, including having a lifemate. Especially when someone is trying to kill them both.Don’t they make a pair? This was action packed, funny and in some places felt like a psychology study. But despite that, the romance was sizzling and the ending was charming.

Lynsay Sands has done it again
This book did not make me laugh as Lynsay Sands previous books. However I could not put the book down. Loved Scotty - tough guy/sweetie. Constant acton and so much more.Four stars because I missed the laughter and the usual extended London family. A must read. Once again - Lynsay Sands has delivered!

A bite above the rest
Another great read from Lyndsey sands. All the twists and turns of life mates finding out about each other interwoven with a who done it (who is trying to kill Beth).

Another great read
Another great read from Ms Sands. I love her writing style, and especially that she makes her characters relatable with flaws and humour thrown in.

Gr8 book, trying though where lynsay got the Scots patter from, the broons, Dr Findlay's casebook, or rab c nesbitt? Characters you can believe in though! What you want in a story😀
