The media could not be loaded. This replaced the factory PCM 3.1 stereo unit completely. No need to dismantle and try to wire in a different control board. The screen is clear, large, and excellent quality. All Apple CarPlay functions, steering wheel controls, and stock rear camera work great. The install is very fast, it’s literally plug n play. Doesn’t require any splicing of wires or anything that would damage your vehicle. The only things I would be remiss to not mention, the WiFi is spotty so don’t plan on watching You tube videos outside of home WiFi although I’m working on some fixes for that. Also, the two vents that are replaced by the large screen and moved to the bottom like the newer model Porsches, are for show and to the best of my knowledge the parts that come with do not redirect the airflow. There may be some other kit to do that, but I’m ok with it. Heating and cooling are still fine. For the price this unit punches well above its weight class and I am extremely happy. The old PCM is the one thing that made this interior look dated. With this upgrade, the vehicle is 1000 times more enjoyable and just works better! Sound quality is great as well, as you get a much more robust EQ to take advantage of the new system. Works with both standard and fiber optic sound system. Also, the customer care is really good. Seems to be from china, but they answer by email generally within 30 minutes or less. Very helpful, directions for install are very clear and easy to follow!

The product has a fantastic display and will really update the look of your Macan. The interface is very snappy and there are many ways to customize how you want to display your content.The installation is pretty simple (plug and play) although you will find it's not easy to put all of the cables into the area allocated for them after the new ducts are installed. They will fit but you just have to be patient and move the extra boxes (Canbus and Fiber) units into slot after placing al of the cables in first. I found using cloth tape to gather the cables worked best for me as it made everything easier for me to put into the available space.This unit is also only available in flat black so if you are expecting glossy you will have to wrap the panels. I am finding that the flat black has grown on me and matches the rest of the trim on the center console.The unit will connect to either WiFi or CarPlay but not both at the same time. The reason why you may want this is that you can download any application you want from the Google Playstore so if your using Waze on the head unit but also want to play music on your phone you need to use both apps on the same device (head unit or CarPlay). This may not be an issue at all if you just want to use CarPlay or Android Auto while driving.If wanting to use the 4G SIM slot you might want to check if the IMEI is compatible with your cell provider as I figured out after I purchased the unit it will not work with AT&T in the USA.

The media could not be loaded. Android Auto wireless works perfect, along with radio, Google voice commands, phone and backup/360 camera. Xm radio no available in radio but works with xm phone app. Overall very good buy.I installed myself in my garage. The video instructions are somewhat vague but through some trial and error on the speaker wiring I was able to correct. The wiring harness is massive and took some time to get tucked in properly where the radio would install properly. The dash kit worked perfectly and looks great
