Savory Prime Medium Bone Value-Pack, White

When I buy rawhide bones for my 2 year old 70 lb Yellow Lab (who has more energy than all of my prior 4 dogs put together) as well as my 100 lb Leonberger (Google them, great breed), I need LARGE bones. This is purely to protect my investment in furniture you understand. 8" long is a snack to them. These bones must be the filet mignon of bones. I have tried store brands (You know whose I mean!) and they last longer, but I am not saying that is a good sign. The dogs just don't seem interested in them. They lay around getting dusty and nasty. Really, my only issue with these is they are 8" and I wish I could get a value pack of 10-11" bones of this type. My big kids could really enjoy them longer. The price is very reasonable compared to what I pay in the pet superstores.

I ordered 3 of these. One of the packages was placed into a clear plastic bag label ready to ship. I found this very curious because the other 2 packages where not in any additional packaging. I opened the plastic bag just enough to examine the package inside it. I found this package to be already open. This is unacceptable. I will not let my dogs chew on these raw hides when they arrive in an open package. I contacted Amazon customer service and they are replacing the open package with a new one. They said, I do not need to return open package. So, to the trash it will go.I never had a problem with this product before this and I order these often. My dogs do love them but I will not eat from an open package of food and either will my dogs. I buy another product if this continues to happen.

My eight month English Lab is an active chewer and goes through these in a day or so but for the money, these are great raw hide chews and she loves them.

As my dog chewed on these they became wet, and left stains where she has been chewing. The bone looks off white until it becomes wet with saliva. It left behind red stains on my white duvet. I've never experienced a color change in other brands. My dog did seem to like them however.
