I purchased this item for my son. It stopped working after a couple of months. Nobody wants to take ownership. Plantronics says the warranty is expired. I purchased the Square Trade extended warranty and they say the manufacturer should cover it. Seriously?!

First purchase was great, second, not so much
[3 star review] I recently purchased a second pair to replace the earphones of the original (since I couldn't fine them to be sold separately) and I'm so happy I only needed the ear pieces and wires. The one I got, though packaged nicer was just not clean. The top strap had a loos string, fine, but in looking at the strap itself it had obvious animal and human hair stuck in it. Not to mention after my hands felt greasy. I understand some things are hard to clean super well, but as a neat freak I couldn't overlook it. It will just be stored away in case I ever need another piece. But I'll most likely buy a new head strap.[5 star]I heard of these from another streamer who does 12+hr sessions. With other headphones after a few hours things just start to hurt, reasonably so.These. I'm in LOVE with. My husband still thinks they are strange for all being separate pieces though I keep telling him it's so you can replace parts and not the whole thing if you need to. The ear circles are fabric, which is super nice, and are large enough so that they surround my ear rather then just sit on them (which are either too loose, so sounds gets through, or too tight and your ears hurt). And since there is no "adjusting" my husband and I can share and not have to worry about who wore them last and spending time finding that perfect fit again. It's literally one size fits all. I fricken love this thing I swear.

Superb value
This is my 2nd Plantronics purchase, and I am happy to say I am equally enthralled with the sound quality. Very similar, which is great that they can display such consistency across their range.Bass is deep and authoritative without being uncontrolled or overpowering.Mids are slightly recessed, as most people prefer. Still, great detail.Highs are sublime. This is a somewhat bright headphone but its impactful low-end balances it out nicely. A very active and enticing sound.Comfort is good, but the headband is needlessly bulky (though still light) and the earpad diameter is on the small side. Nice breathable material, though, and with just-enough acoustic transparancy to give these somewhat of an open-back spatious sound quality.While these sound great through a laptop or phone, they're not very sensitive. I have to turn these up higher than my other headphones to get a similar perceived volume.Overall, a personal favorite for <$150 (I have an extensive collection of headphones ranging from $5 to $500).I have just a few wishes:1) Understated non-gaming variant with less-bulky headband2) Larger ear-cups (ideally D-shaped like Koss has)3) Easier to driveIf those wishes were met, they'd handily be my favorite.

Very comfortable and lightweight. Sound quality decent. Mic quality decent
This headset yields different results depending on where you connect it to. I tried using it analog direct to the computer's audio ports, then by using my keyboard as a USB bypass (logitech 510 gaming keyboard).Definitely get superb quality when using the bypass, but the mic becomes ultra sensitive so its impossible to leave it on auto-detection. Gotta use push-to-talk. However, the sound reproduction on the earphones is REALLY good. For the 25 bucks that i spent on this refurb unit, its incredible.Super durable because it has no moving parts. Its all hard plastic so the headband will never break (unless you give it to your dog or something like that). Ive used it for a couple of months now with no issues.Watch out for refurbs because sometimes the mic comes damaged. If that happens, amazon is 100% great to work with returns. It happened to me and i got a new one in 2 days. Amazing.

Light great sound at a great price
There really light and the ear cup material breaths so my ears dont sweat which is really nice for long game play. All my buddies say they can hear me clear.Iv won more matches with thease because I can hear other players sneaking up on me. Great product at a great price highly recommend would buy again

One headphone non working. No included USB dongle
Its a good headset if you have a big head and find other headsets squeezing your ears. Comfort better than Corsair (tight on ears) But this one had a dead speaker and also has no USB dongle forcing you to use the sound cards mic (which usually are bad)

Money Wasted
DO NOT BUY THIS if you want a hand-held volume slider or mute button on the wire of your headset, there is none on this one.The headset came in some weird smelling sticky substance that you couldnt get off unless you actually washed it with a damp rag. When I actually plugged it in, the microphone wasn't working, it was just playing audio from my headset, absolute waste of time and money.

Solid headset for the price
If you're looking for a budget headset, and you don't have particularly big ears, this is a fantastic headset. Audio quality is great for the price. Apparently the mic is a little tinny. It does, however, make up for this with being *durable*, unless you're an idiot like me and drunkenly trip over the cord and break the audio jack. This was my fault entirely. =PGreat headset for the price, very well refurbished. Good deal.
