I purchased this in both black and pink. I have a few braces and this one causes the least distress on my thumb. I prefer the black to the pink. The black has consistent coloration throughout. The pink is more warm than cool pink, has grey stitching, black elastic, and whiteish velcro down the back of the thumb. I purchased it to blend in but the mismatched materials draw more attention not less. I appreciate the functionality and design of the braces, but they could both use a touch more finesse in materials.

Perfect item! After several failed attempts to secure my thumb at night while I sleep, this splint did the job! It had x3 straps for the thumb itself, as well as the 2-strap wrist band. It is worth its weight in gold!

Thunb Splint. Sprained large knuckle on R thumb. Gives adequate support. However, the sewn in aluminum strip doesn't rest on the top of my thumb, but on the 'outside' of my thumb. (Drew lines for the insert and where I slit it to access the metal strip) Strip is on the outer side of thumb on either hand. I removed about 1/2" on one side, so it would turn and have that strip on top of my RIGHT thumb. (Practiced sewing for 3hours) Discovered my thumb had sprained 'outward', not down or up. So the metal strip location on the side would be good for that.

This product was exactly what I needed. It is comfortable and the adjustability is great.
