Works great
Easy to set up. Easy to schedule. Easy to skip a rainy day. Wish I could afford more of them for my other soaker hoses!!

DONT BUY THE WIFI VERSION!
The wifi product needs serious work. Took me 90 min to update to the latest firmware because it kept failing. For every time it failed i had to reset it by taking the batteries out for 10min. Otherwise it would never respond to turn on and off via the app. Once i updated the firmware i finally was able to control it via the app....however if you press the button in the device to open the valve...guess what...its stops working in the app. You have to remove it from the app, reset it and reinstall it. Rushed product!

Good product
Works good but was difficult to connect. Took some patience but it did work. Once working the app works great. Arrived early

Easy set up!
Great product! Perfect for watering plants while traveling. I used it as a pool filler during the summer. I just set the time so that the water came on for about an hour each night to compensate for evaporation. Very easy to set up!

Won't connect to router, and set up.
No thrilled at all. So far 2hours trying to get the device connected to my WiFi and internet. Three calls to customer service. The first they advised I needed to turn off my phone and restart my, this was a requirement to get the device to connect to my router. The next two calls I sat on hold for more than 15mins before the call was just disconnected. Still have not managed to get the device connected to my router, despite having them side-by-side I have numerous other management devices connected to my router and internet connection, this is the first that is unable to connect. I'll update and add further if I ever get it working

I’ve had several flow controllers this is my favorite
Every year I have been planting an elaborate garden. I have other priorities at the moment. However I did purchase a row of Mandeville’s which are famous for an all summer bloom. I simply wanted to use a drip irrigation hose to water them even though the spaces in between would be watered as well. This RainDrip seems to be the best. There were several things I found to be important. One of them is that I want to be able to control the flow on or off without having to get out my cell phone. Guess what? A simple press of the large button on the controller valve at the hose does that. One press it is on, one press it is off. You can also control it via the app on your cell phone. So if I want to use the hose at the other end of the house I can use the yellow quick disconnect to hook up a second hose, or spray device, and when I am done reconnect it to the drip irrigation hose ready for the next automatic watering. Convenience like this is what I hoped for. The other thing that amazes me is that the aerials device is 40 feet from my router, and it has to go through cinder block walls to reach it, and it does so flawlessly. The sending unit, the round dot with an antenna is reaching the hose faucet as well. Having a water timer saves an enormous amount of time not having to attend to every other day chore. With this Raindrip I can set a schedule any way I like it. Expensive units also have a probe that goes into the ground sensing whether it is already wet or raining at the moment. This does not do that, but rather gives you the ability to control it from anywhere which is what’s the description states. That saves a lot of water. Overall, this is a smart looking, and acting device that definitely deserves 5 stars.

A good wifi timer
This is my second wifi water hose timer. The first , which is an older version of this same brand worked well and so this is my 2nd. The first I used in Nicaragua for my rooftop garden and it worked well. I set the timer via the app and the app controlled the schedule and kept my plants watered well during the hot dry season of Nicaragua. This one works just as well. Set the schedule and let it control itself. It does connect via 2.4ghz wifi so make sure that you have a good 2.4ghz connection where you place the timer. If you don't have a good connection it will not work well or will not work at all. Overall, the timer works well and can be a great tool in your flower beds or garden.

Nice idea, but leaks and misc issues from the start.
I bought this 10 months ago. From first install it leaks slightly and drips water from the case. Now its leaking worse and wont completely shut off the flow of water when toggled off. Water still flows at low pressure. Nice features are available in the app, and temperature & time based scheduling seemed to work well. But it doesn't report the battery life properly (always says 100%) even when batteries are dead, and the rain detection was not very accurate. Manual button on base/hub doesn't work anymore. I used Energizer lithium AA batteries and they last about 3 months.
