I love the pen but it is most definitely not purple. I thought I was sent a white pen by mistake but there isn't a white pen for sale, it's just a white pen with a teeny tiny HINT of purple (not even close to the photo in the listing). So, that was disappointing but it's a good entry-level fountain pen but it's also a handy everyday use pen for those of us who have "nicer" (ok, more expensive) fountain pens but need something to carry in their pocket or in their purse. I am not a fan of a fine nibs but this one isn't a typical Japanese fine nib, which tend to be super fine. It's smoother than most inexpensive fountain pens and I love that it's retractable. I would buy another one but I can't trust that the blue or pink will actually be blue or pink and not just another white pen with a little dab of those colors.

Very smooth and very convenient for a fountain pen. I’m left handed and bought this one even though they had a left handed model, but it’s still writes amazing, next time though I’ll buy the correct one.

This was my first fountain pen! It was really easy to figure out when it came to installing the ink cartridge. I also really appreciate the clickable design and have experienced no leaks since buying it back in November. However, it might just be the way I use the pen but the ink comes out thicker than I want it to, so I’m not sure about the precise control. I do have very small handwriting, so that might be part of it. The pen I used before was Muji’s 0.38mm gel pen, so I want that same level of thinness in every other pen. The ink DOES dry very quickly, which is great for journaling although the letters tend to bleed in my Midori notebook (which uses Tomoe River paper). This might be attributed to my handwriting style though. I’ll use this when I just want to brain dump. But this pen, for me, is not ideal for precise notetaking—which I do tend to do a lot of. **Attached a comparison photo on a Kokyuo Campus notebook.

This is a beautiful gift to send to a friend. It’s just stunning. She said she was happy just to sit and look at it, but she even hadn’t even used it yet. I’m looking forward to a letter from her describing the beautiful pen.

I’ve had my eye on these pens for a while. I love writing with fountain pens, but I have only ever used disposable fountain pens. This pen was a bit out of budget for me, and so when it when on sale, I jumped at the opportunity to get myself, and my friend this pen! It was so worth the cost, and now I can’t wait to buy more, even at the full price! These pens are great! They are easy to load, click open and close easily, and they write like a dream! I would a million times buy this again!

This pen writes really well for being fine nibbed. It's smooth and wet enough to put down a nice line which is not too fat but not too thin. The clicking mechanism is quiet and deploys the nib surely and quickly. Even the ink that came with it is actually pretty decent! Here's the problem. The capping mechanism works by having the nib push it out of the way, bending the plastic rather than opening a hinged door. If you bend plastic enough it will break. This pen will break and the nib will dry out in seconds. Unless they have a revolutionary material that can be bent countless times without breaking, this pen will fail. It's a $24 pen, the materials are unlikely to be more than plastic. Once you realize that, it changes your perspective. Every time you click it is one less time it can be clicked. I'm not sure if I can rely on it to be the only pen I have when writing is important. Also the finger indents could be deeper. I didn't realize they were there until I read about them in another review. But it writes very well.

The concept of a retractable fountain pen is great. However, the pen still leaks as a regular fountain pen would but less than usual. Still worth getting for convenience. Nice writing, smooth and steady.

The ink flow is super smooth and consistent—I’ve never had a hard start or skipping, even after leaving my pen sitting for a week.
