It’s a very good unit.
I installed the unit just in time for the bitter cold we had in the Northeast last January. It kept my house warm and cozy throughout the coldest winter days. Installation was a breeze for me because I’ve installed a few mini splits over the years. Word of caution for DIYers, take your time with it and don’t kink the lines, make sure to thread the lines very carefully and follow the instructions provided with the unit or you’ll be back here writing a negative review about the unit that it doesn’t deserve. It’s a great value for the money and a great addition to any space when installed properly.

Love this unit. It’s working great. The other Della unit I bought at same time is NOT. That’s why only a 4. Love the quietness, efficiency and capabilities of heating as well as cooling. It cools/heats our whole tiny little cabin.

Works as expected. DIY install not so bad.
DIY install. You should use a heat pump to prep the lines for install. Ours has been installed for 2 summer and 1 winter. Works great. App is much better than the remote for controlling the unit. Be careful not to kink the lines.

Worst cut corner ever!!! 1000% don't buy a Della!!!!!!
HOLY COW!!! SERIOUSLY!!! Never in my wildest dreams did I think the mounting bracket for this 12000btu indoor unit would be less than 16"(on center) wide! Leave it to the wonderful folks at Della to cut the most random corner of all time. This unit didn't ship with a mounting bracket wide enough for 97.3% of all American homes!! Even the poorest made Ryan homes have studies that 16" On Center...yet my Della mounting bracket isn't capable! Line set that is too short, sure. Plastic blower fan, okay. Not being able to mount the indoor unit on two studs...MIND BLOWING! Now I have to repack LITERALLY everything and return 100% of it! Thanks a lot Della!

I love it
This was best investment I've ever made. I put this on the wall on my porch that I've converted to a sun room. This extra space that I enclosed with plexiglass and wood and sealed with insulation stayed about 20 degrees different from out side. With a window unit and heaters. Now with the split unit it stays what ever temp I want it to be. The della split unit is so quite I have to put my ear on it to hear it run sometimes the out side unit is even quite. If you mount on outside wall that is a little thin and only a few inches thick it might give a little bit of a hum but so slight you have to want to hear it. Turbo cool or heat will cool or heat super fast. The remote is confusing really bad even with the instructions. No real video to watch on it and you can not out it on auto and set a temp. When you put it on auto which is what I use the most your temp is not settable. You can NOT set auto. Not even on the app. AUTO can not be set. I have not found anything anywhere that can tell me how to set auto. Otherwise this is perfect 👌 👍 🥰. I love it.

Great customer support!
When this unit was less than 5 months old it stopped working. We have three other Della units - two of them for 3 years and have had no issues. I have spoken with customer service technicians several times, and they called our technician as well to discuss the situation. Everyone at Della customer service has been very helpful to rectify this situation.
