Dinky little pocket book
Paul Webster runs the fantastic [...] site which I do read sometimes (but am not affiliated with in any way). They are "professional" walkers who inform, and sometimes get informed by, dozens of walkers. His site is well worth a visit and has some great tools for walk planning.Lomond and the Trossachs are on my doorstep so I got this wee booklet to give me some ideas and to give me something light to carry but pleasing to read at the campfire. The writing is clear, the routes well described, the pictures lovely. Some great "out of the way" walks, at the easier end of the spectrum, and with an eye to transport options too.I'll definitely be picking a couple more up.

Great little book
This is such a cute little book, definitely worth the price - really handy small size with lots of pictures and maps conveniently ordered from entry to the lochs and beyond. Only warning is that some specific points in the walks might be outdated by now, a missing bench and recently felled trees made us question if we had followed correctly on our first walk - but we had confidence in the maps alone anyway. A great collection of walks to explore the area.

handy little book if you're hiking around Loch Lomond
This is a nice pocket sized book with plenty of hiking options in the area of Loch Lomond. if you've never been to the area before it's a good starter book. If you are familiar to the area you may need something a little meatier, however for me as a newcomer to Loch Lomond it was perfect

Excellent book to explore Loch Lomond and the Trossachs area.
My reason for walking is to enjoy the scenery. I like to look and explore and find new places however I am not a walker who likes difficult or steep walking routes. This book is part of a series of books that I have found to be very useful in finding and planning walks. The details are excellent and walks graded. This book covers an area that I love to walk in and I have found the book to be an excellent starting point and companion. Well worth considering if you are looking to explore this area.

Great wee book
Great wee book, A6 size slips into pocket.Information for each walk is concisely described on a colourful 2 page spread with a nice picture and small map. Also like the quality of the shiny paper.

Great sized walking book of mixed difficulty
Positives: - fits in your pocket - says which walks are buggy-friendly - good variety of walks for different tastes, fitness levels etcNegatives: - instructions were sometimes misleading, leading to a couple of wrong turns

Ideal companion.
Ideal companion. Probably best to combine with an O&S map and a compass, but it was so good I didn’t use either on our walks.

Very helpful and useful!
A very helpful and useful book for the region around the Loch Lomond! Contains a lot of nice tours! Unfortunately the tours are a little spread because the area is large! But if you looking for a small and detailed guide this book provides all necessary information!
