Great for baths
Bought this so my youngest could enjoy bath time more, he loves it. After having it for some time, it's still working.

It only works on when submerged!
Shark just would not work. After some time troubleshooting, we found that it turns on when the fan is fully submerged in water. Someone should print that on a sticker on the box to let others know. My kid will be happy for Christmas!

Amazing toy! Works very well in the water! Very life like! Its good quality and very durable for a rough and tumble ten year old!

Do NOT hand your child the remote while they are in the tub.
Seems durable. Got here fast. Kids absolutely love it. Don’t let anyone use the remote while they are in the water because it can be dropped and this will ruin the remote and it won’t work anymore. The shark is huge too! It seems to be made well but the remote control is cheaply made. I’ll still give this 5 stars though. It’s worth it! Oh and the shark plugs into a USB port and charges, and the remote will take either a couple AA or AAA batteries.

Not as cool as I hoped it would be
Charge doesn’t last that long and it’s really hard to control the direction even for an adult so it is going all over the place with no real rhyme or reason. The waggle motion does look cool in the pool but the difficulty in steering makes it frustrating for all ages.

Do not buy!! Bought this shark for my daughter's Christmas present. Come Christmas morning, she is so excited to try it out- it won't even turn on, much less swim around in the tub. We charged it for an entire afternoon, checked the batteries in the remote, troubleshooted what we could but it was a complete dud. Extremely disappointing- save your money.

We have not used the shark with the remote control yet as I didn't have batteries for it. I however do not like the charger for the shark as it is just a tiny electrical square like device that plugs into the shark with a little plastic cover that goes over the charging port. I am constantly afraid water will get into the charging port and wreck it
