Somfy Telis 1 RTS Pure Remote, 1-Channel (1810632)

The remote was an absolute nightmare to sync with the awning motor. After two days I was ready to send it back because I thought it was incompatible with the motor since the awning was a discontinued Durasol. However, I managed to "unfreeze" and reset the motor by unplugging and replugging several times (7 to be exact) and then I finally managed to sync! Works like a charm. A little pricey, but worth the convenience.

I purchased this remote for a used Sun Setter Awning my dad gave me a few years back. The old remote was left outside for a long period of time and stopped working. Corrosion on the board. I finally broke down and ordered a new one, This Somfy Telia worked like a champ once I was able to get it programmed. Unfortunately the only instructions that came with it were in different languages. I mean every language EXCEPT English. So I researched on line and found the Sunsetter manual to program it when you DO NOT have an old working remote. Wish I had ordered this years ago. The remote works great and like I said once I found the instructions to program it was very easy to setup.

Very happy to find this replacement controller for our motorized blinds and the workmen do our remodel lost the original one. It did take a bit of hunting and searching online to find the correct method to sync up but worked out in the end.

The remote works fine - overpriced, but it works! I had a hard time following the instructions. My tip to you all if you were pairing this with your awning are:1) Throw away instructions2) Refer to the youtube video titled "How to reset Somfy RTS motor to factory settings"3) In the youtube video- follow his instructions. Basically - unplug your POWER CORD for your motor for 3 seconds, plug bag in for 8 seconds, unplug again for 3 seconds, replug. Then press the "program" button on the back of the remote. This should do the trick. It goes through these steps in the video.GOOD LUCK!

This remote controls our sun awning. We ordered it and were told it would be 5-6 weeks coming. However, we were delighted to get it in 3. Calling the company support number helped us reprogram the awning to be able to use the remote. It took 2 minutes. Voila! We have shade on our patio again.

I ordered two remotes. Quick delivery. I had read in the comments that the instructions included were terrible so I was ready for some difficulty. They couldn’t have been much clearer! It was such an easy setup! I was adding to my remotes so I just used the remote I already had to program the new ones. {Use a paper clip or small bolt to push program button on back of remote}1. Push and hold the program button on the back of the old remote until the light on front turns on and/or the screen jumps up/down slightly.2. Push the program button on back of new remote until the light on front turns on and/or the screen jumps up/down slightly.Done.I think it’s overpriced by a lot but I needed it so...

I am writing to you because i have been in hospital having a surgical procedure only to find out that Somfy Telis RTS Pure Remote does not work with my awning, I would have returned it earlier, but was in the Hospital. I am on a limited income andcannot afford to lose $64.30 which I paid, can you help me please.

We have a solar powered outdoor shade and we had to have the company come out and open up the shade header to reprogram a new remote. If you have an electric shade that plugs into a wall then there is a series of unplugging and plugging in that you have to do to wipe out the memory of your Shade so the remote will work. The remote itself was cheaper on Amazon then through our Shade installer.

Der Vorgänger habe ich wohl bei zu hohen Temperaturen gelagert. Das Weisse hat sich verfärbt aber vor allem funktionierte nicht mehr. Batterie wurde gewechselt, trotzdem keine korrekte Funktion mehr. Deshalb suchte ich einen Ersatz. Dies ist das Original und sieht wieder gut aus. Wird auch mit Aufhängungsmöglichkeit an der Wand mit Schraube geliefert. Finde es sehr praktisch. Habe 5 Sonnenstoren "angehängt" und kann nun vom Garten aus alle gleichzeitig einfahren wenn der Wind zu stark wird. Um die Sonnenstoren vom OG aus zu bedienen habe zwei weitere Fernbedienungen, eine einzelne und eine mit 4 einzeln schaltbaren. Finde es so viel praktischer elektrisch zu bedienen. Empfehlenswert.

This was a waste of money because it never connected to my awning even after speaking with someone to see if I was doing anything wrong. Too much time had gone by to return it so I just lost my money

Ich habe den Handsender als Ersatz für einen verlorengegangenen Sender gekauft. Könnte man hier die Bedienungsanleitung nicht bei Somfy herunterladen, wäre man mit der beiliegenden Bedienungsanleitung ziemlich aufgeschmissen. Der Text ist dermaßen klein, dass man ihn fast nur mit der Lupe lesen kann. Außerdem fehlen öfters einzelne Buchstaben, die man dann auch noch erraten muss. Der Sender ansich ist völlig okay.
