Sadly the battery on the Quest 3 is totally pants. I researched and found that if you want to play for more than 90 minutes, a battery pack is needed. Did a bit more research and there are plenty of 3/5k mAh batteries out there giving you an hour or 2 more. Then I spotted this one. 10k mAh battery.... sure that should mean 4 hours extra? By jove it does! Comes with all the kit you need too for additional comfort. It was a bit fiddly to put together but I put that down to my sausage fingers rather than poor design. Takes about 5-6 hours to fill the battery from flat (it does come with some charge so i used that as i am impatient). I recommend using the battery and headset at 100% charge if you want a decent amount of time. I found this turns out to be 5 to 6 hours depending on how intense the games are. Right I've pointed you in the right direction, I am off to save Gotham.... because I'M BATMAN

Excellent purchase. fits perfectly onto the 3S headset, with simple and easy-to-follow instructions. This is an essentials purchase for anyone who owns a Meta VR set. Very comfortable fit, and looks great without making it look bulky, or overly-large. Nice long extension with the battery life, and lets you enjoy more hours of fun. I could not recommend this highly enough, and this is one I will, for sure, be telling my friends to purchase.

decent quality strap, with a power pack for prolonged gaming, the strap together with the battery feels quite heavy but on wearing feels well balanced and light, the only snag i had was threading the overhead strap through into the quest 3 headset which took some patience, hence the four stars !!!

This battery headset is well made and very reliable on charging, and the battery is detachable for easy of use. The charging connector is of good quality and charges straight away without having to fiddly with the connector like some of the other makes that have poor charging ports. Battery life not as much as stated, but still overall a great piece of kit.

Very comfortable and battery pack works great have hardly used the internal battery since having this it literally lasts for ages . I would recommend getting rid of the grey strap as it doesn't really do anything and stops the vr from getting in the correct position but that's just my opinion.

Buy this even if you haven't bought your meta quest yet because you'll be extremely disappointed and frustrated at the poor battery life built in.

This is a decent product and would get 5 stars if not for the very slow charging of the battery. It was charging so slowly that I initially thought it was faulty. As far as the strap goes, it's very comfy (albeit threading the strap through the headset was tricky and awkward). With the original strap I was getting a headache behind my right eye and it was pinching the back of my head, so this is a big improvement. Even with the battery attached it seems well balanced. The battery keeps the quest 3 battery at the same percentage for the duration of the charge, so it's very good in this respect and it gives around 3 to 4 hours of extra playtime. I've got a fast charging plug and it doesn't seem to make any difference to the charging speed. The same port will keep my quest 3 at the same percentage if I connect it directly when playing, which shows it is supplying enough wattage. This is a real shame and it stops this product from being perfect.

The build quality on this sucks. The head strap barely fits, the size adjustment barely works and hurts to use. It only works on one side of the strap, so the entire headset becomes lopsided. Do not buy this strap if you don’t want to get hurt.

What I like about this is its common sense approach to design. The modular approach to the battery design makes it great as a standalone headset strap replacement with the option to just snap/clip the battery in for that extra juice! The only thing I don't like is the fact that they don't have the option to sell the battery as a standalone product here in Canada like in the US. Hopefully, it becomes available soon.

Tout est dans le titre, c'est tellement bien de ne plus jouer avec le chargeur branché. De plus je voulais remercier Amazon malgré que ce soit une grosse multinationale car jusqu'à présent je n'ai jamais été déçue de toutes les commandes exécutées. 👍😉

Es la segunda que compro y esta es increíblemente comoda, la batería es un gran plus Ya veremos cuanto de autonomía le da. No es necesario desmontar para meterlas en el maletin de trasporte. AGREGO .. No me habia dado cuenta que a la batería le falta un tornillo por ahora funciona genial y me viene bien para cargar tambien el mando de la play sin estar cerca de la consola pero me e dado cuenta eso de que le falta un tornillo y espero no afecte al agarre mientras juego a las oculus. Espero el vendedor me responda

Everything goes together easily, no problems at all with the installation. Battery does its job, but the point of note regarding that feature is it’s positioning and how it is secured. Acts as a perfect counterweight to offset the weight of the quest 2 sitting on your face, and it is secured snugly via a slide-in rail that ensures the battery won’t become a projectile during rigorous movement. My only complaints are as follows: 1- the battery could benefit from a separate input to allow pass through charging of both the battery and headset. As it sits, the cables must disconnect from both so they can be charged separately after use. 2- I wish I could simply purchase a second battery independently, allowing for a quick-change to keep the quest 2 active if you’ve neglected to charge everything, AND to partially remedy complaint #1 above. Neither complaint detracts from what this product offers, however, as few VR users will push a single battery setup hard enough to demand a second battery or more convenient charging capabilities. Awesome gear. I’d call it essential. Once you put it together you’ll likely find yourself asking why the Quest 2 didn’t come like this out of the box.
