Fast, Reliable and Versatile
This review is for a BOSGAME P3 Pro Mini Gaming PC. While the page says I bought the Ryzen 9 version, when I purchased it, it came with an Intel Core i9 12900H. The rest of the specs are the same as the Ryzen 9 version. So bear in mind, I am reviewing the Intel version. The first thing I did when I received mine was to install Linux. This was easy to do, the UEFI/BIOS is accessible and it shows you what button to press when posting after you power it on. Linux installed with no issues at all. It comes with Windows 11 pre-installed, but unless you need Windows I recommend ditching it for a better OS. It has loads of ports. It has a Thunderbolt port, which I use to power and display on small monitor. You can also connect two other monitors with HDMI. It has a whole load of USB 3 ports. You can upgrade the RAM (which I did to 32GB, I was fortunate to purchase mine before the price went up). and you can add an additional internal NVMe SSD (which I also did). The PC runs really quiet, I barely know it's on. It has 14 cores, and it runs fast enough to handle most things I throw at it. While it's not going to cut it with modern AAA games running full speed and frame rate without an additional GPU, it can handle the internet, video editing, and live streaming with no issues. It's a versatile and reliable little box. I have had it 10 months now, and it's on most of the time. The construction is good. It is as upgradeable as a mini PC can be, and it has all the ports you need. The price has gone up since I bought mine, but it's still a good value.

Awesome bit of kit
I have suffered with an old desktop that was so slow that in frustration I decided to buy something to replace it with. Just happened to spot this and in reality didn't expect too much of. Wow, when connected I was happily surprised at the speed of startup and ease of set up everything was rocket propelled in comparison to my old machine. I do not hesitate in recommending this device.

Decent
Decent spec. Cheaper than a raspberry pi 5 by a big margin

Great for media and basic gaming.
Bought as a 50th birthday present and the recipient loves it. They had a dual core mini pc with 8gb ram before this upgrade. It's smaller than expected and it runs all the basics in a snappy fashion and runs cool at idle and running media. -1 star as you currently can't control the fans via the bios or software. The default fan curve is a little bit aggressive and is noisier than i'd like at idle and watching movies etc.. The bios also didn't include the 'quiet' mode profile either which i did expect, only 'balanced' and 'performance' I asked support to include this if they ever update their bios revision. Because of this I installed the unit as far away as possible to where the person sits, and they haven't mentioned noise being an issue. I'll update if anything significant happens!

BOSGAME - sweeeeet
Only had a week but, so far, very impressed. Connected to a monitor, plugged it in and press play - bang, boots up in a second - very little bloatware installed which is such a breath of fresh air these days - the way it should be - no noise that I can hear, super small and compact - admittedly there’s little on it at mo as it’s new but loads stuff up in the blink of an eye - have transferred my thousands of photos and docs over from my old hp laptop so feel very happy that I can now smash that to pieces, something I’ve wanted to do since the day I purchased it and this, I can promise will be a very enjoyable experience for me ! Only slight irritation but that’s probably more to my complete inept ability ( though in my defence, I am a 58 year old builder) is that I had to uninstall the trial version of office 365 that was pre loaded which took some time as each language seemed to have its own folder as I bought office 2024 from a different source at a vastly reduced price and wouldn’t load until I’d uninstalled the trial 365, but like I say I’m sure my retardation in pc matters was the main flaw - nothing to do with the pc. Windows 11 pro seems to run smoothly and like I said previously - all at light speed - I now feel that I can charge less on my day rate as I don’t have to wait a week for Hewlett Packards finest to boot up when trying to form an invoice ! Thank you Bosgame

Mini PC with SSD and memory included
My granddaughter wanted a desktop with a large monitor in her bedroom, but space was limited, so I had to look for something that would be small enough to tuck away somewhere yet give the power expected of a desktop. Enter the BOSGAME B95. Since setting it up for her I have been suitably impressed with it. It is nippy, from switch on through boot up to ready for action is only a few seconds, one of the benefits of the SSD of course, and with 500gb hard drive there is plenty of storage for her games for now. If she needs more storage, there are 2 USB2 ports at the back and 2 USB3 at the front, and I already have 2 1tb external hard drives, and when I tested one on this machine, it accessed it without problem, and at impressive speed. Furthermore, it has 2 HMDI slots, and she has already asked about the possibility of running 2 screens. I might be 70, but she is lucky that at least I know a little about computers so I can sort some things out for her! Being a small box, it has been easy to find a slot to tuck it away so it is not obtrusive. It even comes with a bracket for fixing on to the back of a monitor, though she did not want that, preferring easy access over keeping it out of sight. To make it easier to set it up I downloaded a program onto it so I could sit in my recliner in the living room and log in to her computer to do bits and pieces on it . This has the added bonus of allow me to keep an eye on what she is doing, she is still under 16, and also I can do antivirus and anti malware checks regularly, because I know full well youngsters tend to forget these things. After having used and checked this over, and seen just how easy it is to replace parts or upgrade, I am impressed, and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this for general use or light gaming.

Small, simple, does the job
I was a bit leery of these new mini PC devices, but no more. The Bosgame B95 does exactly what I wanted, exactly the way I hoped. Physically, the Bosgame B95 has a nice feel to it, hefty and solid. It powered up with the usual Windows 11 setup rigamarole, but - miraculously - no request to set up a Microsoft online account. So far it's run everything I've thrown at it. I've installed the usual apps and hacks needed to beat Windows into shape, and the unit is behaving itself well. It's hooked up to a 75-inch Samsung TV, and running at 4K resolution with no problem at all. No noticeable noise. No complaints about performance, either. The group I'm working with has been experimenting with Zoom conferencing - therefore video and audio - and the unit is handling everything just fine. Bottom line, I'm not sure I'll ever buy a full-blown PC for routine work again. (Gaming is a whole other proposition, of course.)

So far so good
Gekocht ter vervanging oude pc. Twee schermen verbonden, wireless wifi, speakers enz. Werkt allemaal prima. In geen tijd in orde doordat windows al geconfigureerd is. Hopelijk gaat deze mini lang mee.

Great little PC's for office work, or some multimedia watching and light gaming
This is a sleek, quiet, little desktop replacement that I have bought multiple versions of so far. I have some older office PC's running legacy software, nothing complicated (spreadsheets and accounting stuff) and I needed something to replace their aging processors and operating systems. For the cost of a new OS, this PC came packed with just enough hardware and speed to make my desktops obsolete. There are plenty of ports, enough for keyboard and mouse and few spares, as well as USB-C. It took about 1 hour to setup, letting it download new drivers, etc. Then it was off to the races. It boots up really fast, makes zero noise, no fans (that I can hear) and takes up no room on my desktop. I know you can get even smaller PCs on a stick but with so many peripherals I would rather have it attached with a wire in case it gets bumped and that offers some slack. Very happy so far, will buy again.

Good value if you already have a screen/keyboard.
I usually use my laptop that is permanently connected by HDMI to my bigscreen TV. I have a smart TV for streaming channels, but I like the convenience of being able to use my laptop for everything. I don't like using small screens, like phones and ipads because they're not good for posture/neck comfort or for my eyes, so I comfortably sit on my couch with a remote keyboard doing any work I need to do. The beauty of this smaller mini pc box is that it takes up such a small amount of space compared to using a laptop, and it can be upgraded to 2 gb of memory very easily if needed, it even comes with the adaptor, and it also includes an HDMI cable for your large screen. It was easy to set up and I installed my uni microsoft office, acrobat and a few extensions that I use on chrome, but no other apps. Initially it was a bit glitchy, but after a couple of days it's behaving well enough. It is fast enough to do the desk work and studying that I need to do, though it doesn't handle multiple tabs on Google Chrome any better than my other laptops - even with double the RAM than I had, it's still laggy/freezy with Chrome. Maybe I should bite the bullet and use Edge, but I really don't want to. Overall, for the money it seems to be a decent device, but time will tell. The only drawback so far is the lack of portability, if this is your only computer and you need to use it elsewhere it's a bit cumbersome to move a screen/keyboard/cables etc.
