Nice cage for FX30

Almost Perfect for FX30
When I first put this on my FX30 I was thrilled. The cage itself was form-fitting and the little hinged part near the battery compartment allowed for the cage to follow the form of the camera without hindering the operation of the battery door. Everything about this cage was superior to another cage I have until... When I attempted to put the NATO rail on the top of the FX30 my handle would not fit. The handle works with other NATO rails but the one supplied with the MagicRig cage is not dimensionally correct and neither handle I have will fit. If you have the XLR handle for the FX30 this may not matter to you but I use third-party handles (one with a record button) and this is a deal breaker for me. I switched back to the less form-fitting cage with the associated NATO rail that works. So the cage is great and I highly recommend it but the NATO rail is not sized properly. If you don't need the NATO rail the cage is great. It would be one of the best options out there if MagicRig fixed this.
