Hi, I don't want glasses that are very dark, are these a dark or light tint?

Can these glasses be used for occasional welding?

No definitely not to be used for any welding they have plastic lens and mig or tig sparks and slag would burn through in a second and your blind. They can be used for grinding off though as i have done on many occasions. I even had a grinding disk explode and these glasses took a direct hit and only a tiny scratch on the lens.
