Great Coverage and Hydration with SPF Bonus
I was pleasantly surprised by how much I like this CC cream. The coverage is excellent—it evens out my skin tone without feeling heavy or cakey. It also has a hydrating finish that keeps my skin from looking dry, which is a big plus since many foundations can accentuate dry patches. I also love that it has SPF 30 built in, so I get sun protection without having to layer extra products. It wears well throughout the day and still looks natural. For the price point, this really competes with higher-end CC creams, and I’ll definitely be repurchasing.

Top Quality and Affordable!
This is a great foundation. This is the first foundation I have found where it doesn’t oxidize on me and turn orangish. I have a cool complexion so when a foundation oxidizes it looks wrong for my skin tone. The foundation is buildable and went over with ease. Lasted all day after setting and sat shell on my combo skin. My skin looked glowing. I recommend 10/10 for me and I’ve tried foundations such as HAUS labs, ABH, Urban Decay, tarte, Maybelline, etc. All of them either never matched my skin tone exactly and would oxidize to an orangish shade. This is such an affordable and good foundation. Elf has been nailing it lately.

Great for mature skin
Love this CC cream. For reference, I am 62, have combination oily/dry skin and large pores. This CC cream is a budget-friendly version of It Cosmetics CC cream. I've used It Cosmetics CC cream for years and was looking for a cheaper product with the same benefits. I found it! The coverage is medium to full and buildable. However, it was a little challenging finding the correct shade, even when asking AI for a comparison. The first shade I tried was too light 120N, and the second was too dark 280N. However, that's no problem, since I can mix the two the get the perfect shade, a little lighter for the winter and a little darker for the summer. Anyway, I still wanted the perfect shade without needing to mix....drum roll...205N hit the sweet spot. Thank you Elf for creating this CC cream. Even my critical daughter complimented me on my skin! This is perfect for mature skin. I always use Elf's Power Grip Primer underneath. Also, to avoid the little bit of creasing under the eyes, after applying, I tap a small amount of a translucent power with a brush to smooth out any settling.

Great product, but it has a smell...
It smells like feet. I have tried multiple bottles - and it has a feet smell. I finally realized it is the MUSHROOM extract in the formulation that gives it that weird smell. Problem is the smell doesn't go away with wear time. The product itself - top notch. It has medium to full coverage, color range is limited, but it worked well for my skin. I wear this formula on days when I am going out for errands and just need makeup coverage - not flawlessness. But it this formula can produce a semi-flawless look if you take your time. Better product than the ITCosmetics one - ITCosmetics dries and cracks on mature skin, where as this formula keeps a dewey fresh feel without moving the product all over your face. If you can handle the smell, its a good foundation.

Not for mature skin
It’s a great formula. It is absolutely full coverage. It is a little bit thick, but I will say I can wear the whole day without feeling like my skin is suffocating. My only issue with it it is definitely not for dry skin or in my case someone in their late 30s with fine lines. The formula just does not have enough hydration and leaves a sandpaper texture look by the end of the day. It definitely settles into fine lines. I hydrate my skin very well. I have a whole moisturizing skin care routine. I prime my skin so for this to show that many imperfections tells me that the formula is just not made for mature skin

My favorite
It blows me away what people pay for make up. I’m a mature woman. I use three small dots a day and this is my go to. I don’t like the makeup look. I just like to cover some areas. I use a little and it goes a long way. I highly recommend this product. I’m an elf girl all the way. The beauty industry is crazy and I will never be a part of it

Well worth the money!
Love this. I’m so pale that I have dark circles no matter what skin treatment I use. This is perfect for them. Evens out skin tone when I blend with other products.

Tried 3 pumps of this as a practice on my face wow far too much . 1and 1/2 pumps on the back of my hand is plenty for my face and neck. Such good coverage , quality is excellent , I’ve 3 or 4 foundations I use and this will be up there with some much more expensive products . The texture is light and so easy to apply and blend with either brush , sponge or fingers . Doesn’t seem to be settling too much in my 65 year old lines and wrinkles and my skin appears youthful and dewy . Haven’t noticed too much of any smell . Have been struggling to find a match for my olive skin but think this is perfect

I’ve been using the e.l.f. Hydrating Camo CC Cream for a few days now and wanted to give an honest review. If you’re looking for a true full-coverage foundation, this isn’t it but for me, that’s actually a positive. I use it as a tinted moisturiser. I have combination-oily skin with visible redness across my cheeks, and I bought the shade Fair 120W. I use this on its own as a colour-correcting moisturiser as part of my quick 15-minute school-run skincare and makeup routine, and it works really well for that. Especially for anyone with kids who lives a hectic lifestyle but still wants to focus on themselves and feel good in minimal effort The coverage is light to medium and evens out my skin tone nicely without feeling heavy. It’s definitely more of an “everyday natural skin” product rather than something you’d use for a full glam look. Overall, I’m happy with how it softens the redness without looking mask-like. In my opinion, it applies best with fingers rather than a brush or sponge. A little goes a long way, if you use too much or apply a thick layer, it can start to look cakey. I’ve found the trick is to use a thin layer and then build up where you want a bit more coverage. It lasts all day on me without melting off, which is a big bonus. It does cling slightly to dry or rough patches, so I’d definitely recommend moisturising beforehand for a smoother finish. Great for quick, natural, everyday makeup… just don’t expect a full-coverage foundation. Considering there are some very expensive ones on the market this is a great budget free alternative.

This is the best foundation I have ever used. And I am over 50.

I want to love this and have purchased several but realised this is what breaks me out badly. It’s a lovely consistency and comparable with a Charlotte tilbury one but a lot better value. Now I do breakout every time when using.

So disappointed as I’ve loved Elf products in the past. This is so chalky and not at all hydrating. It looks dreadful unless mixed with a lot of moisturiser which then reduces the colour correctiveness of the product so it’s absolutely pointless.
