When I first got the rope, I tried lifting it over my head and the Bose max smacked me in the eye 😂 obviously, that was user error 😂 I won’t do that again! I thought well maybe I don’t need this. Then I took a road trip, I loved that I was able to hang the speaker in my van. Then when I got to my daughter’s house, she fell in love with the speaker and the rope. She carried that thing around to do her chores. Then said she would love to have that speaker with the rope for Christmas. The only thing I wish is that you could have the handle and the rope on, but this thing is amazing!

This was great.It makes it a lot more convenient to have a shoulder strap to take the product with you on outings

I received this strap today. Packaging was good and the strap seems well made. However, it is very very uncomfortable to use. It's also very short and won't fit a cross my body at its full length. It is also quite difficult to adjust. Ok. If you have a Bose soundlink max, you will be familiar with the rope design as the provided handle on your Bose max is identical. In fact, the rubber grip is also identical in both material and size and as I'm sure you will know, the rubber grip on the handle it's quite hard and isn't very comfortable to hold. Imagine that digging into your shoulder with the Bose max weight dragging it down. The rubber is also very slippy and easily slides of my shoulder. It is truly horrible to use and is definitely form over function. The strap is also made in 2 parts which slide over each other. However, the shorter end is still quite long. This prevents the stap from extending fully. I am a fan of Bose and have about 6 of their speakers. However, this particular item is certainly not well designed or considered... It is a poor product and I would not recommend it.
