67mm Clip On Variable ND2-ND32 Phone Lens Filter Kit

The product is fine but beware, it doesn't work on the Samsung S25 Ultra. No idea about other phones. If you look at the picture there's a solid black plastic part and that covers part of the lens, so it's not usable.

This is obviously not a cheap addition to your phone so you have to be pretty a pretty serious phone snapper to get one. It sort of begs the question that if you are serious about photography why use a phone? Well given most high end phone have great cameras, these professional filters add a level of control unavailable from a software perspective. This particular filter will actually unscrew from the frame and as it’s a standard fitting you can use it on your SLR. Obviously that means that the same sized filters you have on your camera can be used on this frame as well. (Explains the large size). The large size also allows it to be used with most mobiles, I tried a Samsung (pictured) and an iPhone 15 which the pictures were taken with and it fitted fine. Fitting is straightforward with a screw locking it to the phone and the adjustment is a rotary affair much like a camera. Adjusting one way makes it darker and the other much lighter. I took three pics to give you an idea of the image clarity and filter effect. The first is with no filter and the second fully one way and the third fully the other. Whilst the light levels change the actual image quality is unaffected. On the video I run from light to dark, you see the camera software trying to compensate for the change but it settles. Certainly would be useful in bright settings, I remember in Egypt the pictures were largely washed out as the phone couldn’t cope, this filter would have been great then. It is a big outlay but if you take a lot of phone photos then it’s about the best of its kind I have seen.

This is definitely the first mobile filter I'm actually going to use.....mostly due to the solid attachment mode. After using so many others that use a very weak and flimsy clip / peg mechanism, this screw method wins all day Now while it secures the filter perfectly, it does have the slight drawback of 1. Screwing against your screen (you should be fine if you've got a screen protector AND 2. A really bulky case might not work with it. With the filter on though, the magic happens (ignore the song in my video, that's the iPhone mic picking up every twist of the lens filter). The usual glare when there's a light source is totally eliminated, and the color and sharpness are enhanced, it almost felt like making an actual movie. It ships with a solid hard carry case and clear instructions for use. Verdict : I'd give 100 stars if I could. Definitely recommend

I ordered this for my eldest grandson who is doing an art and photography course at college. I am also a keen photographer and I tried the filter prior to giving into my grandson. Although the iPhone software for the camera does a fair job at dealing with light variations, sunset and high contrast images fail completely without a filer of this type. The filter can be coated when attached to the iPhone to adjust the light exposure and give a perfect balance lighting within the image. The filter steps from ND 2 to ND32 (1 to5 stops) the frame is also able to hold other 67mm thread filters including Polarising, UV filters as well as effects filters like Starburst and numerous others. The filter and phone clip come in a smart carrying pouch which you can slip into your camera bag or even just in you pocket when out and. about with you phone camera. the holder clips easily on to the phone but it is recommended that you remove your phone case. additionally you can add a video light or mic to the top attachment. This is a high quality filter kit that my grandson is very pleased with and will help him take even better images that have a balanced light and natural true colours. I highly recommend this filter system if you want to get some really good images. I will update this review with some images once my grandson sends me some he has taken using this filter.

This ND filter comes in a nicely padded case to keep it safe in the camera bag. It has a wide ranging ND effect with a neutral colour balance, which I am pleased to say is consistent across the image. I have used an ND filter on my iPhone from another brand that relies on a simple spring clip, but that comes with the problem that the filter is never really flat, whereas this one screws on neatly and the design does a good job at blocking out extraneous light. Yes, this does cost more, but it is a superior product. The same filter can then be detached from the holder and simply screwed onto a lens with a 67mm thread. The only unexpected problem I encountered is that the filter can be heard rotating in the audio when using my iPhone, so in future I would make sure I am using an external microphone. Luckily it comes with cold shoe slot, so that can be added.
