I ordered this yesterday and received today. It’s spring break and with work schedules not able to go out of town this week and the kids are bored. Figured this would be something fun for them to do and get them back outside. I was soooooo wrong. I chose this one due to the sale and with it being half off. (Lesson learned) it comes with 2 batteries. I charged them both before putting it together. The first battery I tried didn’t work at all. Went to the next one. It turned on. So we went outside and got the app set up and tried it out. It ran for about 1 minute before we noticed it was smoking. We brought it down. I went to grab it and it was extremely hot. I had to wait for it to cool down before I could remove the battery. This thing is a fire hazard and dangerous. I had an upset 7 year old. He didn’t even have a chance to try it out.

Battery life is decent for casual flying, and it’s lightweight but feels sturdy enough for practice. Highly recommend for anyone new to drones or just looking for some flying fun!

Cheap, and low quality. I don’t get how this product has near perfect reviews after trying this drone out. If you try to record a video the frame rate is choppy and does not look like high definition 1080p resolution to me. The instructions are unclear. The only reason I gave this three stars was for the price. I need something of higher quality to inspect my roof for potential damage after a weather event. There is no way I could do that with this flimsy drone.

I’m torn between giving this drone a two and a three-star review. I’d like to give it three stars because it serves its intended purpose as a cheap, expendable drone to learn to fly on; I’m giving it two stars because the performance doesn’t match the claims on Amazon. It seems to me that the five-star reviews are either fake or are for a different drone.The cons are as follows:o The batteries last between five and ten minutes.o The drone feels flimsy.o The phone app instructions are minimal.o The slightest breeze moves the drone because of the weight.o The propeller guards easily pop off.o There's no brand name or model number on the drone.o It's made in China (many won't care about this).o The Pictures are more like 480P quality.Here are the good points:o The remote control is intuitive and easy to use.o The instruction manual is clear (phone app instruction manual is not).o It has survived a handful of crashes so far.
