The perfect pads
I bought these to replace the all-too-quickly worn down pads on my road bike; they seemed to be made with a high quantity of graphite, made a hell of a mess of the rims and were hopeless in terms of stopping power. I chose Kool Stop salmon pads as a replacement based on the concensus on cycle forums and I can confirm they are as good as it gets; one finger on the interruptor brake (a.k.a. 'suicide levers') is all it takes to stop the bike with these on and no black powder all over the place. These pads will improve braking performance and rim-wear on any bike.
