The Perfect Dressing Stick
I had been looking for a long shoehorn since the one I had broke in half when I tried to use it to get a shirt off my shoulders. While searching through Amazon for a shoehorn I discovered that dressing sticks existed. Looking through what was available I selected the Juvo Long Handle Shoehorn and Dressing Aid. Upon receipt I was surprised that it came in two pieces, upon examination I noticed that the area where the two pieces connected was keyed and had a locking mechanism to assure a sturdy connection. Once assembled it feels like it is strong enough to hold up. The designer kept the plastic thick for sturdiness while narrowing down at the end for the shoehorn function. I love the use of non-slip plastic on most of the straight area and the hook area. This aids greatly in preventing the cloth from slipping off the dressing stick. After two days of using the dressing stick, I ordered a second stick to keep downstairs to help in getting outer wear on and off. It isn't often to find a product so well made and perfect for it's application. Well Done

Great assistive tool
I use this to assist after a shoulder replacement. It has several ways to use it, making it very versatile. Helped me feel more independent early on after surgery. Helps me dress, underwear, pants, bra, even shoes. Very helpful tool. Good for the price for sure. The material it is made of helped me grip it firmly and it also gripped my clothing well to pull them on, but didn’t snag on them, making removal easy.

handy
The product is fine but I have not been very successful using it to dress yet however I am still in the practicing phase. However I have a very high bar in the closet and it is very good for getting items off or on that bar.

Helpful for many uses with limited range of motion
This little gadget will grab or hook many things. I used it after my total shoulder replacement to reach my jacket, my sheets and a cord with a loop I had tied onto my ceiling light. I could not have made it through my recovery without it. I highly recommend it's use for those with limited range of motion.

Affordable, sturdy little helper!
I needed a hand getting my undergarments on after hip revision surgery. This did the trick! What a lifesaver when you are unable to bend or lift your leg. Highly recommend this little gadget.

Unusable, poor design
TL;DR: Taking it apart means never putting it back together. Works well if 1. you aren't pulling past a certain strength and 2. you never want to disassemble it for travel. Positive: The shape of it was functional and the rubber grips were a nice touch. Negative: No disassembly functionality. After putting the two pieces together, there is no way to separate them without completely ruining its structural integrity (which is two tiny plastic slats; think like a backpack buckle but laughably thin). I assume if I'd been able to use it for longer, there's a high chance it would have pulled apart while trying to dress. Poorly designed; go with the wooden ones that are just one piece. Frankly if this was designed as one singular piece, it would be great.

After watching a video in YouTube and seeing the soft end that grabs the clothing is soft.
He item was exactly what I expected. Actually to be honest I haven’t used it yet as I haven’t had my shoulder replacement surgery yet. It’s not scheduled until July, but I wanted to get this in advance. The quality is very good as I could tell when I removed it from the package. I like the color of the hook and shoe horn. Even though I haven’t used it yet I feel the value is good! I’ll have to come back to review the usage when I actually will have to use it. I recommend highly this product even though I haven’t tried it out as yet. I may have to practice to see how easy it is to use.
