Black+Decker 12-Inch Paint Shield, Trim Guide for Painting Straight Lines

I picked up the BLACK+DECKER 12‑inch Paint Shield for a trim project, and it absolutely delivered. The shield is sturdy, lightweight, and easy to maneuver, even in tight corners. I dont like to use tape when i paint so this helps me keep a straight line. paint does not get under the shield as long as you hold it down firmly. Easy to wipe paint off of it. It is a handy tool - especially for the price.

Does not work as well on surfaces althat are not very flat. Textured walls had bleed through. Seemed good for ceiling lines

The thickness was pretty good works out well I used it for painting and I just rolled it across the edge of the trim with the roller and it didn't leave any lines perfect for what I used it for.

Don’t buy it. I thought this would be very helpful for painting my baseboards. It’s not. It copies and makes a bother mess then free hand painting it

I use this tool while painting to make straight lines. It is 12” wide, and is good value for money. The edge lays straight. It works as expected. It saves time by not having to use tape.
