Rayovac High Energy AA Batteries (48 Pack), Alkaline Double AA Battery

The Rayovac brand which is made by Energizer is comparable to the Amazon Basics Brand in price and quality. Both boast a shelf life of 10 years and a similar ranking shown here at Amazon in overall customer satisfaction. The areas where Rayovac excels over Amazon Basics and most other competitors in a similar price range is that their batteries are clearly marked Made in the US. Granted, Duracell can also boast a similar claim but their price is typically considerably higher and any concerns over leakage isn't any greater in one brand versus the other. The key is to replace all your batteries at the same time in the same battery powered unit. Never mix zinc-oxide batteries with alkaline batteries or a potential disaster is bound to eventually happen. Be aware that weaker older batteries left in the unit can also result in premature leakage when you add newer batteries among them by adversely weakening the polarity of all the batteries in that current device they're installed. A leakage with all new batteries installed unless exposed to the elements of weather is highly irregular with most any devices in use when the batteries themselves are installed properly. Another advantage of purchasing Rayovac batteries relates to how they're packaged. They arrive in a resealable and reusable plastic container which appeared undamaged in shipping upon arrival. (SEE PIC) The batteries themselves also looked intact, not used and arrived in pristine condition. I did read in prior reviews of some concerns by some customers in not being able to verify the expiration date on the batteries which they had recently delivered. You can read the expiration date clearly on the lower side portion of your battery where the negative side of the battery connects. My batteries purchased show a shelf life until 12/2033. (SEE PIC) Granted that is a shelf life date when the batteries are stored under the most opportune conditions Obviously, that isn't always likely the case for the average user with myself included. I primarily use my batteries in my remote control devices like my wireless computer mouse and PC keyboard. I can't yet attest to Rayovac's battery longevity versus other brands but I would expect them to last as long as the comparable higher priced Duracell batteries that I'm currently using or any other US made AA battery currently sold right now by Energizer. I always try to stock up on my AA batteries during Prime Days and around the holidays when prices are typically lower. In closing, I'm very happy with this Rayovac purchase and I'm looking forward to putting them to the actual usage test against the Amazon Basic and Duracell batteries that I'm currently using in all my electronic devices. I trust that I won't be disappointed. Rest assured my friends, I'll let you know what happens.

I once did a study on Rayovac, Duracell and Energizer. It was a controlled test over 3 months. Long story short. Rayovac won in every category. Best longevity. Best capacity. Best performance under a load. And Lastly almost half the price of those other name brands. Yes, there were more categorys but you get the point.

These are my "go-to" batteries for the devices I must trust to work accurately. Much cheaper than Duracell or EverReady and last just about as long, although I don't have a way to test any actual difference. When there is a price reduction they are a really good deal.

It’s a good deal but the battery package broke open like many other reviewers have said. The batteries were all over inside the box. No batteries were missing and all seem ok (and new) but something is definitely wrong with how they either pack them or ship them.

Bought these for my trail cameras. They seem to be holding up well. I have my cameras set up to instantly upload my pictures and videos, with no delay between pics/vids and they are pretty active. I have had my cameras out with these batteries since the middle of July and the batteries are still around 60% which is quite impressive.

Great batteries and a good price! There was some sort of hiccup in my delivery and I did not receive my items. Though they were able to reship it out at no extra cost & it was delivered within two business days. I have two girls and around the holiday times we go through some batteries. Not just for toys or games but for holiday decorations as well. It's way better to buy a bulk pack of batteries and like this one you are sure to get a way better deal.

These are very good batteries. I bought them not only for the quality, but because Rayovac is one of the very few batteries available that are manufactured in the United States. The only negative: I was supposed to get 60 batteries, but the "like new" package only contained 58 batteries.
