I was extremely skeptical of this because it looks so janky…but it is absolutely amazing.Wood burns very clean with very minimal smoke. You can easily fit a whole bundle of wood on it if you would like.I will say the clips they use to attach the mesh onto the frame sucks. Someone can easily knock the pin out if they aren’t careful walking by it, I’m going to see if I can replace it with a long bolt or maybe a tent stake instead.Setting it up is very quick and easy. Just install all the legs extensions into the frame before you bend it open. Install all the legs with rubber end caps on one end and the legs without on the other end.

I love this thing! I can’t have a fire on the ground and don’t have room for the bigger versions in my camper so this fits the bill. The only complaint I have is the ends that hold it together require some gentle care but it’s not been an issue so far and barely any ashes fall out. Great value in my opinion.

It’s a little tricky to first set up but after you understand it and get familiar with it it becomes easier. A couple of important notes is to check all the bolts and nuts and tighten down on them. Secondly, you have to make sure you keep track of the four clips that clip the steel net to the legs. If you lose one of these you’re done. I think they may throw in one extra. I think this is super cool fire pit that’s elevated up off the ground easy to pack and takes minimal space up in your truck or trunk. Everyone that sees this is amazed. Worth saying one more time as soon as you get this and open it up please tighten down on the nuts.

I tested this unit yesterday in my yarden with a little fire and it was fine, though a real pain to get in the bag as the screen is hard to roll up tight enough. However, when taking it apart, two of the four clips sprung out on their own and one flew about 6 feet into the leaves and ground cover. It took forever to find. Without the clips, the unit is useless and the vendor does not sell spare parts.Because of this, I'm considering returning it, though all in all, it's a good concept.

Used on multiple camping trips so far. Packs up small and helps keep the fire off the ground. Great for car camping, especially when you don't want to have a fire on the ground.

Just used it on the Labor Day weekend at a camp ground that had no fire pit and this was perfect, held 3-4 haft logs with no problem nothing fell through. It packed up with no problems I will buy again if I need to it looks like it will last for at least 30 fires.
