Simple and does the job.
Didn't research this product in deep detail. I had a handful of old VHS tapes and was curious what was on them. They were from 25+ years ago so didn't expect or need to think of any quality considerations.This thing has to be one of the most simplistic and easy to use devices with high return. RCA out from the VCR player into the device, HDMI out to monitor, power with the supplied USB cable and it works flawlessly.No I can throw away all those old episodes of Ren and Stimpy, The Price is Right, and Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em.

Arrived very quickly and in good order. Performs exactly as described.

Streaky image
produced a very blurry and streaky image from my Nintendo Wii. Quite disappointed about the waste of time.
