These are the best way to ensure that you get your metal gate to clear the ground at the proper height and to get the gate to the appropriate distance from the gate locking mechanism. They are hot-dipped galvanized with zinc and will last nearly forever. Purchase/Borrow a long 5/8 inch screw-type drill bit to drill the holes through your fence post.
