I recently installed the Flashforge Adventurer 5M enclosure kit and it has made a noticeable difference in my printing setup. Some parts needed fine adjustments, and if your printer’s calibration is slightly off, fitting inside the enclosure takes care. Material limits of the enclosure walls While adequate for many materials, the enclosure is not fully sealed for extremely high-temperature or chemically aggressive processes. If you push to extreme operational ranges, monitor temperature and ventilation. Size constraints & clearance Make sure you have enough room around your printer before installing—doors, wires, or clearance may become tight in smaller spaces. 💡 Tips & Best Practices from My Experience Before fully sealing, run a test print and make sure wiring and tubing have slack so they aren’t pinched. Monitor interior temperature during long prints (especially in warmer rooms) to make sure it doesn’t drift too high. Clean and dust the enclosure interior periodically to preserve clarity of the walls and prevent buildup. Use the enclosure especially when printing filaments that are sensitive to drafts or ambient temperature swings. Final Verdict: This enclosure kit is a very strong upgrade for the Adventurer 5M or any compatible printer. It delivers on quieter operation, better temperature control, safety, and overall print quality. If you’re serious about improving your printing environment, this is a solid investment.

The items in the enclosure kit itself are are great quality. The print files from the FF site for this enclosure left a lot to be desired in my opinion. I had multiple failed prints before I was able to get a full set completed. I also have an AD5X and have the enclosure kit on it, it printed flawlessly when I printed it. The enclosure does help maintain a uniform temperature while it is printing, and keeps dust ect off the printer and print bed. Its clear sides and top also allows for viewing by the grandkids while safely keeping little fingers away.

This Kit is a valuable addition for anyone looking to improve their 3D printing experience. It offers excellent protection against dust, debris, and temperature fluctuations, helping to ensure consistent print quality. The enclosure is easy to assemble and fits snugly around the Adventurer 5M, minimizing any airflow disruptions while still allowing for proper ventilation. Users appreciate how it reduces warping and improves print adhesion, especially when working with ABS and other temperature-sensitive materials.

It only comes with the window panes, screws, and magnets to put it together. All the other pieces need to be printed and they never specified which filament was needed. Only after 2 days of printing all the parts was that specified. Instructions provided were pretty bad as there is no specification on what filament to use and a booklet would've been handier to use. Also one of the pieces is too big for the printer its for. You have to adjust the position and therefore compromise the quality and therefore breaks. Would have been a decent experience if the product didnt expect you to make most of the pieces needed for it. Edit: I Tried to use some of the pieces to give my printer some color but the screws don't even work. Was 3/5, now 0/5 if I could If you want an enclosed printer just put the money towards one that has it already. It'll save you time, effort, and quite possibly wont have to worry about taking a printer apart to add the enclosure.

Everything you need is there and ultimately isnt hard to assemble but the 3D prints can be a little tricky. Had to reprint a few items more than once. The instructions also can get confusing toward the end. The noise reduction is incredibly noticeable and does exactly what you want it to do

Easy to install after you print the parts that the instructions tell you print. A little pricier than i would think they should be for what it is. They do fit Topher perfectly though and it looks great once it's done. Does help cut down on the noise and fumes also

It works really well, though doesn't make it into a 5M-Pro. Not even close. There are big gaps in the sides that would let air in and toxic VOXs out. It does quiet the 5M down substantially and does a decent job of keeping the heat in. It's relatively easy to put together, though several pieces have to be printed before assembly. This allows customization of the case and presumably saves money. I highly recommend the "minimalist" case, not the standard case.

I had the joy of receiving a Flashforge Adventurer 5M for Christmas, and recently decided to add an enclosure. This hardware kit is the perfect match to the 3D stl files provided by Flashforge. The combination of this hardware with my pla printed parts made for a surprisingly easy installation. The magnets and machine screws provide a solid connection to the AD5M chassis, and the large plex windows do not obstruct the view. There is still room within the enclosure to add led straps, a camera, and the associated wiring (future projects). Make sure you have at least 2.5 kilos of filament on hand to complete this project. It is a fun build.

Comes with all the fittings and plastic windows The windows are thick take the protection off they are clear plastic and well made You have to print 90% of it yourself witch takes about 2x1kg rolls depending what file you use i used pla Very happy makes a world of difference
