Yes, you can set different chimes for each sensor to know which door is open.

Q: Can it be used on an metal doors？

It is recommended not to use it directly on metal doors, because metal may affect the signal emission of the door magnet, and any door/window of other materials can be perfectly used

Q: What is the distance of use?

The distance of use is at 600ft (182m) in open spaces and 300ft (91m) in indoor places. As the time of use increases, the power drop will also reduce the distance of use.（Walls and other obstructions may also affect the signal transmission distance.）
