Two separate trays which live stacked inside a plastic outer case. So it's possible to fill both trays up with water, stack them in the case and place it in the freezer. So it saves some space that way.Here's the clever bit, the bottom of each cube well has a silicone bottom so it's very easy to pop the ice out.Inside the container lid are spikes which match up to the spacing of the cube wells. In theory using these spikes it should be possible to knock out all the ice cubes simultaneously. In practice as there nothing to align the lid and the ice tray, plus it felt like the lid or ice tray were about to break, this wasn't possible. Nice thought though.Obviously the case can also be used to store ice cubes, but not with the trays inside. Final thought, good product but the spikes bit needs a little more thought unless I am missing something very obvious!

This is a really convenient way of making and storing ice. The trays have ridges that you can use to lower them into and lift them out of the main container. I did find keeping it absolutely level a little bit of a challenge and there has been a bit of ice build up around the main container and lid where it may have spilled a little. The cubes were fairly easy to remove from the trays by turning upside down and using the lid gadget, although I ended up putting the whole assembly on the floor to get enough leverage to push really firmly on all areas of the lid. After dispensing both trays, I could then refill one of them and place it back in the top, so it should be possible to maintain a fairly constant supply of ice. The container feels really sturdy and is excellent quality. It is fairly large but we have large freezer drawers so this hasn't been a problem. The lid is nice and snug fitting and won't fall off in the freezer or allow anything unwanted to get into the ice. It will be a well used gadget if summer ever arrives!

Great idea. Well made and easy to use. Love how compact it is and how easy it is to transport without tipping water every where. The soft silicone bottoms in the ice cube trays allows for easy to removal of ice cubes. I don't get a chance to use the container for storing the ice cubes as I'm constantly refilling the trays. It gets a lot of use and I'm seriously considering getting another! I would definitely recommend.

Nice quality, good looking kit. The only downside with this is that it is stated to be a container as well as an ice cube tray but, once you have made your ice cubes, popped them out- Smart looking container with two ice cube trays which, obviously, you fill with water and container into the freezer.- once frozen, the idea is you fit the ice cube tray to the inside of the container upside down and then press the lid - which has a series of 'bumps' on the top, onto the container and the 'bumps' push out the ice cubes, well, should do - we had to give the top a bit of encouragement with a few thumps!- Result being, you have a container full of ice-cubes, which will inevitably get used - we get through a lot of ice - and nowhere to start off the next batch. Result being, you need a second container in which to store the ice cubes so that you can start another batch in this one- lovely as it looks, this ice cube container is quite large and would take up quite a bit of space in a standard sized fridge freezer and I am not convinced it would even fit in many ice boxes.So, we will happily enjoy using it - we received this on the Amazon Vine programme - but I am not sure I could recommend it and, for even a posh ice cube tray, it is a bit pricey.

I have been using this ice cube tray for a little while now and I love how easy it is to get the ice cubes out. The tub has a lovely design and look to it. The product came as the ice box, two ice cube trays and a scooper. The lid of the tub has pointy bits to help remove the ice cubes from the tray. The bottom of the ice cube trays has a soft material to make it simpler and easier to pop the ice cubes out. Would recommend to people who struggle to get their ice cubes out of their ice trays.

What you see in their product listing photos is what you get. This ice cube maker/caddy is a good space saver in an already cramped freezer, we only have a small freezer, so I don't often make cubes, but this thing is great when I know I have guests coming, I can double up. What I don't like is the lid, which has a white lining that has a gap underneath it, a place impossible to clean and where germs can lurk. I have removed it, even though it is meant to hold down the two trays of cubes, which is only necessary if you intend to turn this thing upside down AFTER the water has become ice, no one will turn it up while the water is unfrozen, so a bit of a redundant featuer. It is okay but not perfect, the lid liner is a bit of an 'overdesign'... Price at time of this review was £10.
