Perfect and not cheap looking

This produced is solid and waterproof. The duplex outlet has plastic retractable covers over the plug openings.

This is a good looking floor plate that is well made and finished. I like the style, and it passed muster with my wife, so we're off to a good start. The rotary lock allows you to keep one cover closed while using the other, which I appreciate. I also like that the covers are not spring loaded, and that you get a rubber, rather than foam gasket. The included electrical box is very deep, and the receptacle has large holes to plug in stripped wires, I am guessing 14-gauge will be no problem for these. The cover plate itself is very heavy and solid.I like this set enough that I am going to order more to complete our remodeling project. I can't say that I think any of these floor plates are a bargain, but this one is price competitive with the ones at the big box store and looks a bit classier, so it's recommended.

I've purchased floor boxes before from the big brick-and-mortar hardware stores, and they are usually nice boxes. This one is equal or better than the others I've purchased. It's a nice deep box, so you have plenty of room to work, and the brass cover is heavy gauge and well finished. Although I've yet to install it, I don't see any issues when comparing it to the others I've purchased earlier.The only issue for me is the color of the outlet included (white). My house has ivory outlets, so I may swap out the included one for an ivory one. Yes, you don't really even see it, but I'm a perfectionist, and I'd know it was there.

This was a pain to get at the proper height relative to the floor. If you simply install it at floor level, the cover sticks out with a gap between the floor. Had to cut the wood to recess the box far into the floor and use rubber washers to get the cover at the correct height. Also since most wood floors are at least medium brown, it would be nice if they had a bronze option.

We have a couch that sits in the middle of our living rom and we have extension cables that stretch across the floor to reach our electric couch and the lamps on our end tables. We needed a floor receptacle that would withhold accidental kicking and stepping on in the event the couch was removed. This outlet cover is solid and there is a locking screw so the individual electrical covers stay down. This floor assembly outlet comes with everything you need to install this outlet in the floor. I really like the quality of this item and I would recommend it.

This has a nice weight to it. I ordered to use in the floor for our workstation in a Reno we are doing for our personal office. It feels like a quality little outlet. I’ll update when we cut concrete and give it power.

Great for a floor outlet or counter top. Comes with everything you need . Cute gold cover plate . Will be installing into our spare bed room . The outlet is tamper proof and I like that it comes with covers . 10/10 recommend.
