The Bible Recap Study Guide: Daily Questions to Deepen Your Understanding of the Entire Bible

I’ve been wanting to read the bible in a year for some time and this book was recommended. I am looking forward to using this guide to help me achieve that goal, as well as to a more in depth learning and understanding of the bible.

This is a great addition to an already wonderful Bible plan. I haven't made it through the entire plan yet but so far it has given me more to think about the Bible I thought I already know and I feel like this study guide assists me in dogging deeper when I dont know what questions I need to ask myself. I prefer more space to write in so will not be writing in this book but I love the questions. My only feedback would be allowing each day to have its own space as they are broken into chapters by week with subheadings for each day. The organizer in me does not like to day 1 and 2 being on the same pages.

Other reviewers have pointed out the quality of the questions being asked in this book. The questions are very thought-provoking and can help you understand the bible in a deeper way. One review says that this is not quite suitable for independent study cuz a lot of questions are open-ended and would need a pastor or group guidance. What I'd like to say is that THIS IS EXACTLY THE POINT! I think it's better to get your own understanding than having a group influencing and potentially limiting the scope of your understanding (that's what bible study group is for!). A pastor may not necessarily be able to give you the correct answer/understanding no matter how experienced he is at studying the bible! Trust yourself, trust the holy spirit! I'm surprised at the quality of the binding. For a paperback book, this book lays open surprisingly easily. It appears as though this book has a sewn binding. I'm not 100% sure. I can't see visible threads, but obviously, the pages are bound together in signatures by something (staples maybe). It'd be great if someone else can comment on this.
