Not to be confused with the Daily Essential Face Moisturiser. This is the Retinol Face Moisturiser, which is claimed to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.When I started to use this product, I did find it a bit different to those I have already used. The product is an off white cream, with an almost yellow hue. All the other products I have purchased previously have been near perfect white, and It is certainly thicker than the Daily Essential Face Moisturiser.The second difference I found was that after applying, where other products soaked into my skin quickly and easily, this product did seem to leave my face shiny and greasy. I found this to be disappointing as this certainly wasn't the result I was looking for. I thought that maybe it was because I followed up the application of the cream with the Daily Essential Face Moisturiser. But the following day I only used the Retinol Face Moisturiser, and received the same results.However, it always pays to read the instructions. Brickell state that the retinol moisturiser shouldn't be applied to damp skin to help prevent irritation of the skin. I usually apply moisturiser in the morning, shortly after showering. I wouldn't say that my skin was damp when applying, but waiting a while longer, to ensure my face was 100% dry, made all the difference to how my skin was left. Th scream soaked in far better, leaving little to no greasiness on the skin.After perfecting the application, I have found the results to be great. My skin tone is nice and even, and fine lines appear much reduced. Great product for those looking to enhance their appearance.

I am one of the unlucky ones that struggles with occasional dry skin on my face - especially after the gym. I’ve tried loads of moisturising products to help with this - all with little to no success. Why? I actually find most of them too greasy and don’t want to absorb very well. You combine that with everything else and it’s a recipe for patchy dry skin and/or spots and such. As an.. ahem… older ish gentleman, I don’t need that kind of hassle. Enter this fab moisturiser from Brickell. Super easy to apply, non greasy and easy to absorb. This one also has retinol - which is essentially extra vitamin A. Also good for supporting healthy skin. For me, this handy pot has really helped transform my skin care routine. My face feels hydrated, with a great value and what I think it’s a high quality cream. I purchased the lightly scented, which has a nice fresh scent and overall I’ve been very impressed with how soft my skin is and how much better my skin has felt, particularly after the gym sessions. I’d recommend this - especially for men over 50 and for anyone that gets dry or patchy dry skin. It’s been a real game changer for me. I hope it is for you.

I love this stuff! Being a few months away from the big 50 I have been trying various products to try make my skin look better and fresher. This one has won me over. I have been using this for just over a week and can see a difference already. My skin feels tighter my crows feet are not as prominent and my skin feels generally better. I would recommend using at night as directed and maybe every other night but this depends on your skin type. When it arrived I thought it was a lot of money for the size of the pot but this will last you ages, you only need a pea size amount to give good coverage of your face so definitely value for money. The cream absorbs quickly and does not leave your face feeling wet or oily. The consistency is nice it feels light once applied. Putting cream on my face has always been a morning thing for me but this product has changed my whole routine. Yes I still moisturise in the morning as usual but this added step is making the world of difference already. Would I recommend it? Yes 100% I would. In this day and age it's important for us guys to take care of our skin and it's definitely worth the investment. Yes you can buy cheaper from high street brands but it's not as good as this and won't last as long so prob not any cheaper in the long run. Give it a try you won't regret it. This is now my go to brand for my self care products.

I’ve been using Brickell Men’s Retinol Face Moisturiser for about 9 days now, and so far, I’m really liking it. It goes on smoothly, feels lightweight, and doesn’t leave any greasy residue, which is a big deal for me. My skin already feels more hydrated and a bit smoother — not a dramatic change yet, but definitely noticeable.No irritation or redness so far, which I was a little worried about since it has retinol. I’ve been easing into it every other night, and that seems to be working well for my skin. It feels clean and simple, like something designed to just quietly do its job.It’s still early, but I’m optimistic. If things keep going this way, this will become a regular part of my routine.

I’ve used many of the Brickell range of products and do enjoy using them. This one I love, non-greasy, easily absorbed into the skin, and feels good straight away and after only a minute it’s already absorbed into my face.When the tub arrived, I was a little uncertain how long it would last, in over a week I’ve barely touched the surface so these worries are gone with a little going a long way.Initial results are genuinely encouraging with a smooth face after applying and a visibly fresher glow to me. I can’t say how much younger I may look as it maybe too tall an order for the product to reverse so many years.Another quality product from Brickell, I do use their products daily so do write with confidence that they do deliver on what they say and it’s not marketing hype.Highly recommend the After Shave lotion also shown in the photo.
